After istakhara should we wait for dream or follow our feeling

Till now I use to believe that istakhara is praying Isha prayer and praying the dua and going to sleep but this post invalidated that theory. The following is from that website > *Some people mistakenly wait for a dream to give a clear sign as to what decision to make, but this is not true, and often times it never really happens. In fact, dreams may lead you away from what God wants you to do, as Satan might try to deceive you in your dreams.* I have always heard that you are shown a dream which you have to interpret to find what Allah is trying to tell you, but what is the right way to know what do to after istakhara?

Why is it not haram to draw inanimate objects that are the creation of Allah like trees, mountains, and water?

I know it is haram to draw animate living things like animals and humans, but it is permissible to make pictures of trees and other inanimate objects based on the Hadith - Bukhari 2225, "Narrated Sa`id bin Abu Al-Hasan: While I was with Ibn Abbas a man came and said, "O father of Abbas! My sustenance is from my manual profession and I make these pictures." Ibn Abbas said, "I will tell you only what I heard from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) . I heard him saying, 'Whoever makes a picture will be punished by Allah till he puts life in it, and he will never be able to put life in it.' " Hearing this, that man heaved a sigh and his face turned pale. Ibn Abbas said to him, "What a pity! If you insist on making pictures I advise you to make pictures of trees and any other unanimated objects." It is also known that the drawing of animate creatures is forbidden due to trying to replicate the creation of Allah from Bukhari 5963 - Narrated Ibn `Abbas: I heard Muhammad saying, "Whoever makes a picture in this world will be asked to put life into it on the Day of Resurrection, but he will not be able to do so." But trees, mountains, and water are also the creation of Allah, so why are they permissible to draw? Another reason for forbidding the drawing of animate creatures is to prevent people from worshipping these images. But there are also people who worship trees and celestial bodies like the sun and the moon, yet these are permissible to draw. What is the reason for this?

This question comes from the common Islamic belief that the life of Issa was never ended by the Jews. In Surah 19:29-31 the Quran shows us that Issa declared >Then she pointed to him. They said: How can we talk to one who is in the cradle, a young boy ? He spake: Lo! I am the slave of Allah. He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet, And hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, **and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive**, So if Issa (or any other believer) is alive in Jannah, is he paying the Zakat?

Confusion about Qur'an Qur’an 33:37 and 33:4-5 and Adoption ruling?
We know that in Islam adoption is not allowed Qur'an verses Qur’an 33:37 and 33:4-5 pertain to that. My Question is which of these verses came first, 33:4-5 or 33:37 in terms of order of revelation!?! Did adoption become haram after Prophet Muhammad s.a.w married Zaynab or before in 33:4-5

Is calling Shia and Wahhabis non Muslims, calling lavish Quran kawanis (collective reading naats) etc, I am opposed to it as I have believe that Allah should be only one who has right to call anyone non Muslims, and feeding poor instead of calling Quran kawani etc. Recently I had son and after many name consideration, I choose one. Although I asked all so no one is left behind but nothing yet. So I decided to go with what my Mrs and me agree. Now point has come that I can see that my in laws don't like my son's name, and kind of make fun of the name.

Bismillah. Alhamdulillahi rabbil-'alamin was-Salatu was-Salam 'ala Sayyidil-Mursalin wa 'ala 'Alihi wa Sahbihi Ajma'in. ---------- enter image description here I was reading translations of verse 75 of Surat Sad (The Letter "Saad") (38) and noticed a small but very important difference. First, let me give *Sahih International* translation > *Sahih International* > > [ Allah ] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that > which I created with **My hands?** Were you arrogant [then], or were > you [already] among the haughty?" Translations by *Yusuf Ali* and *Dr. Ghali* are using the same noun phrase **"My hands"**. However, translations by *Muhsin Khan*, *Pickthall* and *Shakir* are using noun phrase **"Both hands"** or **"Two hands"** which give the same meaning. Here is translation by *Muhsin Khan* > *Muhsin Khan* > > (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating > yourself to one whom I have created with **Both My Hands**. Are you > too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high > exalted?" and *Shakir* > *Shakir* > > He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to > him whom I created with **My two hands?** Are you proud or are you of > the exalted ones? The problem is **"My hands"** means more than one hands, which can be two or three or four or five ... . **"Both hands"** or **"Two hands"** means two hands. **Which translation is correct?** **What is the explanation that translators used the words they used?**

Why did the Prophet stop a man from eating with his right hand (instead of his left)?

This question concerns this hadith: > Salama b. Akwa' reported on the authority of his father that a person ate in the presence of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) with his left hand, whereupon he said: Eat with your right hand. He said: I cannot do that, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: May you not be able to do that. It was vanity that prevented him from doing it, and **he could not raise it (the right hand) up to his mouth**. -- Sahih Muslim 2021 (sunnah.com ) and Riyad as-Salihin (sunnah.com and sunnah.com ) I'm puzzled by this hadith. It seems like the Prophet could have stopped the man eating with his left hand (instead of his right) thereby forcing him to eat with his right hand, i.e., the desired hand to eat with. However, the Prophet seems to have forced the man to eat with his left hand. **Question**: Why did the Prophet stop a man from eating with his right hand (instead of his left)? I found some commentary online here (number 159), but it doesn't explain why he was prevented from using his right hand instead of his left. It was also mentioned here: https://islam.stackexchange.com/q/36641/17163

Ayatollah Khamenei's FAQ page mentions several times the notion of "obligatory caution". One example is: > Permission of Her Father for Marriage. If the girl is virgin, it is necessary – by obligatory caution – to obtain the permission of her father/paternal grand father for her marriage. M. B. al-Sadr in *Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence [translated]: According to Shi'i Law*, 2003 (Google Books ) describes it as: > The primary principle to be observed in matters of probable prohibition or obligation is therefore caution, avoiding what we suspect to be unlawful and accomplishing what we think obligatory. ... The exercise of caution is rationally obligatory in cases of doubt. And it's mentioned on Ayatollah Lankarani's webpage also. Conspicuously absent from my search results is the notion of "obligatory caution" in Sunni Islam, and I'm wondering if Sunni scholars have a different stance or attitude towards obligatory caution. **Question**: What role does "obligatory caution" play in Sunni Islam?

According to this:- https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/37680/does-the-quran-or-any-hadith-mentions-the-splitting-of-the-moon It's mentioned in the Quran that the moon was split into two. As the Quran is perfect and infallible, then Muslims must believe that the moon was indeed split into two and put back together again. How is it possible that no other culture/civilization has a record of the moon being split into two? It was a time when people carefully observed and recorded even phenomena such as solar/lunar eclipse, since they were largely unexplained back then.
