What kinds of sin does hadith rejection lead to (if any)?

It is accepted that not all ahadith are authentic. One example is: https://islam.stackexchange.com/q/22909/17163 It is sensible, therefore, to reject some ahadith. Some Muslims go so far as to reject all ahadith, e.g.:
> Quranism describes any form of Islam that accepts the Quran as revelation, but rejects the religious authority, and or authenticity of the Hadith collections.
This is a controversial stance in Islam, and thus far, I've only encountered scholars advising strongly against hadith rejection (although the Wikipedia page lists a few notable Quranists).
**Question**: What kinds of sin does hadith rejection lead to (if any)?
----
Among other criticisms, scholars claim that rejecting hadith can lead to sin:
> Whoever... persists in denying and rejecting the hadiths is exposing himself to grave danger, because it is not permissible for a Muslim to reach a conclusion that is not based on proper methodology and without following any guidelines, and criticise other scholars (who disagree with him), **otherwise he may fall into sin and error**. -- Islam Q&A, article 115125
Islam Q&A asserts (a) those who reject ahadith they believe are sound are committing disbelief, (b) those who reject ahadith they believe are unsound are mistaken.
> Those who reject the Sunnah as incontestable proof and accept only the Quran go against the collective consensus of the Muslim community at large, and this **consists in extreme misguidance and deviation on their part**. -- Islam Web, fatwa 284470
Islam Web questions "how those who reject the Sunnah would worship Allaah; the Quran does not provide a detailed description of or the conditions for the prayer, Zakaah or other religious rituals, for instance."
(https://islam.stackexchange.com/q/30537/17163 provides other examples.)
It may be that the authors of the above fatawa are primarily thinking of disbelief. However, presumably Quranists don't think of themselves as disbelievers (and no matter who you are, you'll be accused of being a disbeliever by somebody).
I'm trying to pinpoint some specific sins that hadith rejection would lead to---sins that are accepted by scholars as sins, but nevertheless are engaged in by those who reject ahadith because they reject ahadith. Are there any?
I could conceive of arrogance being one such sin, rejecting a major component of Islam despite being accepted by virtually all scholars throughout Islamic history. Although, the logic here goes the other way: arrogance would lead to hadith rejection, not the other way around.

I read an answer to a question called "Scientific conflicts in respect to the Quran" and the user stated that the person who is reading is misunderstanding the Quran or there is a gap in science that we dont know of yet.
Then another user in the comments said there was a problem with the whole science in the Quran thing. He said this: "Your two points in the beginning demonstrate exactly what the problem with the science-in-the-quran narrative is: those two points when applied to any text whatsoever will always leave the text in some state of "yeah this is true". If you take the Greek myths and "reason" about them with the approach "either what I think I know about reality is wrong, or I misunderstood the Greek myths", then you will also conclude that they are completely true - yet you don't, because that is ridiculous. Ironically, your quote of Popper even tells you that that approach is dishonest and biased. "
What is the answer to this problem with science in the Quran?

The hadith in bukhari

> The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your example and the example of the people of the two Scriptures (i.e. Jews and Christians) is like the example of a man who employed some laborers and asked them, 'Who will work for me from morning till midday for one Qirat?' The Jews accepted and carried out the work. He then asked, Who will work for me from midday up to the
Asr prayer for one Qirat?' The Christians accepted and fulfilled the work. He then said, 'Who will work for me from the Asr till sunset for two Qirats?' You, Muslims have accepted the offer. The Jews and the Christians got angry and said, 'Why should we work more and get lesser wages?' (Allah) said, 'Have I withheld part of your right?' They replied in the negative. He said, 'It is My Blessing, I bestow upon whomever I wish .'
>
>Sahih al-Bukhari 2268
The point is about the saying of people of the book that they worked more but got less wages. We know that jews worked for about 1700 years and christians for 600 years and the Muslim ummah is now in 1440s years.
Wouldn't it mean that the muslim ummah can't be more than about 1700 years as jews worked more than that? And hence it that case it will be false for them to say we worked more? But christians saying we worked more doesn't make sense?

All the lists I have found concerning the traditional order of revelation say the first surah was Alaq (96), and the second, after the long silence, was Qalam (68).
But the biographies and tafsirs I have found say that Ad-Dhuha (93) marked the end of the long silence.
The lists say Ad-Dhuha was the 11th surah, not the 2nd.
Is there a way to reconcile this disagreement? Is there any authority that is widely considered correct among Muslims?
*Footnote*:
Biographies such as "Muhammad: His Life Based on The Earliest Sources" by Martin Lings -- he draws a lot from Ibn Ishaq, although not exclusively.
Tafsirs such as "[Tafhim al-Qur'an](http://www.englishtafsir.com/) " by Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, although [Ibn Kathir](http://www.qtafsir.com) doesn't comment, as far as I can tell.

I have been really scared because early in the morning around 3-4 am, I got a dream of prophet Muhammad!I was clearly able to see his face! He wore some blue robe like old Saudi Arabians! That man told me that"I am prophet Muhammad! I'm the messenger of God! I will save you from the hardships and pain you undergo! "And he told,"La ilaha ilah'allah Muhammadun Rasulullah"and I also repeated the same! And immediately out of fear I woke up! That man had a long face! Not too tall or short! He was of medium height! His complexion was wheatish brown! Not too fair and and too dark! In the middle of it! He had broad shoulders! He had round eyes! Had long black beard! He looked not too old! He had a book in his hand! Looked like Quran and he had a bright light around him! I am a Hindu girl! What does a Muslim prophet has to do with me?! I'm really scared! When I enquired about it to another Muslim he said it is rare for prophet Muhammad to come in one's dreams! And devil cannot take his forms in dreams! So is that really prophet Muhammad and does he talk to a Hindu girl?!

Imam Ahmad and others narrated with a saheeh isnaad from ‘Uthmaan ibn Haneef that a blind man came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and said: Pray to Allah to heal me. The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “If you wish, I shall pray for you; and if you wish, I shall delay that for you and that will be better for you.” [According to another report, he said: “… Or if you wish, you can be patient and that will be better for you.”] He said: Pray for me (now). So he instructed him to do wudoo’ and do it well, then to pray two rak‘ahs and say this du‘aa’ (supplication): “O Allah, I ask You and I turn to You by virtue of Your Prophet Muhammad, the Prophet of mercy. O Muhammad, I turn by virtue of you to my Lord concerning this need of mine, that it might be met for me. O Allah, accept his intercession concerning me and accept my intercession concerning him.” So the man did that and he was healed.
What does it mean when the man is ordered to say "O Allah(...) I turn to You by virtue of Your Prophet Muhammad"
I turn to you by virtue of Prophet Muhammad??
And also "O Muhammad, I turn by virtue of you to my Lord concerning this need of mine, that it might be met for me"
Why should the man call out to Muhammad (pbuh)?
What do these mean and what is the reasoning for the choice in using these words?

I'm a high schooler who is trying to practice the religion and learn more and more each passing day.
However, my friend group usually consists of 2 girls and one guy.
(I'm a guy btw)
Although I like the 2 girls to a certain extent, I'm not fond of myself hanging out with them due to my religion. But this got me thinking: I don't wanna hang out with them anymore, nor do I want to hang out with anyone who I see as an obstacle for myself (e.g. rude jerks, people who distract me from me trying to achieve my goals, etc)
Is it Haram to distance myself from friends and be all by myself? I know it's hard but I don't know what to do

The other day we were discussing the importance of Jammat(congregational) prayer. At one point, one of the guys said that a blind man came to the Prophet(PBUH) and said that he couldn't see and might not be able to attend Jammat prayer. The Prophet(PBUH) asked him if he could hear the Call for Prayer(Adhzan) and the person in question replied in the affirmative so the Prophet(PBUH) told him that as long as he could hear the sound of the Muazen, he should attend the Jammat prayer.
**Now, my question is whether the story is true. If it is, is there a Hadith that talks about this or something similar?**

> Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to As-Suyuti
In Islam, a man is permitted to have N ∈ {0,1,2,3,4} wives. We know:
- If a man has 0 wives, 0% of his deen is fulfilled by virtue of having a wife.
- If a man has 1 wife, 50% of his deen is fulfilled by virtue of having a wife.
But what about N ∈ {2,3,4}?
**Question**: If a man's marriage fulfils "half his deen", what happens with multiple wives?
If we assume the level of fulfilment scales linearly with N, then a man fulfils N/2 of his deen by virtue of being married, which gives a contradiction when N ∈ {3,4} because N/2>1. Therefore, the level of fulfilment cannot scale linearly with N. In other words, e.g. having three wives cannot be three times as virtuous as having one wife.

I originally asked this question which I am splitting up.
Investments and shares for retirement: Pay while contributing on the contribution amount or pay when retiring and we are able to withdraw the amount? This link suggests to pay immediately, and I have also seen rulings where you are to pay when you receive it. In either case, there is the added complexity that "real value" of the investment changes daily and until we actually "realize" the investment by selling and getting cash, it is all paper gain/loss. How to deal with that?
