Are our future deeds written by an Angel while we’re in the womb?
In this translation of a Hadith it says: > Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who is the most truthful (of the human beings) and his being truthful (is a fact) said: Verily your creation is on this wise. In this translation of a Hadith it says:
> Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who is the most truthful (of the human beings) and his being truthful (is a fact) said:
Verily your creation is on this wise. The constituents of one of you are collected for forty days in his mother's womb in the form of blood, after which it becomes a clot of blood in another period of forty days.
Then it becomes a lump of flesh and forty days later Allah sends His angel to it with instructions concerning four things, so the angel writes down his livelihood, his death, his deeds, his fortune and misfortune. By Him, besides Whom there is no god, that one amongst you acts like the people deserving Paradise until between him and Paradise there remains but the distance of a cubit, when suddenly the writing of destiny overcomes him and he begins to act like the denizens of Hell and thus enters Hell, and another one acts in the way of the denizens of Hell, until there remains between him and Hell a distance of a cubit that the writing of destiny overcomes him and then he begins to act like the people of Paradise and enters Paradise. **[ Reference: Sahih Muslim Book 46 Hadith 1 ]**
My question is about the meaning of the Hadith, does it mean the Angel is instructed to write our future deeds while we’re in the womb, or is the angel instructed to record our deeds as we perform them?

The scholar Ignaz Goldzeiher quotes a hadith in his work *"Muslim Studies"* vol. 1 on pg. 205.
Someone came into Malik’s auditorium and shows him a manuscript from the folds of his clothes “This is your Muwatta, O Abu Abd Allah, which I have copied. Please grant me your permission (ijaza) to hand it down.” This permission is granted, and when handing down the text you may use the formula: Malik has told me, Malik has reported to me.”[Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi, fol. 84b, ed. Hyderabad, 309]
It is found in the work of Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi, perhaps in his *al-Kifaya fi ma'rifat usul 'ilm al-riwaya*

But, is it still haram since it contains alcohol? I mean for general soju. And from what I saw on Korean dramas, they are intoxicating (I'm not sure if they drink another drink). Do you have a reliable source or reference or your own opinion about this drink? I couldn't find the information about it, hope I can get the answer here. Thanks.

One time, I made a promise to Allah, and I said 'Allah, if I sin one more time, you may never forgive me, or listen to me', and I broke the promise. I made the same promise, and broke it again. Astaghfirullah I'm so scared. Am I doomed? Will Allah still forgive me and listen to me? I really regret making that promise and I sincerely regret breaking it.

I quoted it from Sunnah.com » Riyad as-Salihin » The Book of Miscellany. It says [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] but doesn't provide any information regarding its grade. I searched Google but couldn't find it on Bukhari or Muslim.
My questions are,
- What is it's grade?
- Is it a sahih hadith?
- Is it reported in Bukhari and Muslim?

I was reading these hadith and i was confused about if it was referring to Allah or Prophet Muhammad ( Pbuh)?
"Abdullah b. Miqsam reported that he saw Abdullah b. Umar as he narrated Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would take in His hand His Heavens and His Earth, and would say: I am Allah. And He would clench His fingers and then would open them (and say): I am your Lord. I saw the pulpit in commotion from underneath because of something (vib-ating) there. And (I felt this commotion so much) that I said (to myself): It may not fall with Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) upon it"
https://sunnah.com/muslim:2788b
Here it implys that Allah is the one that is clenching his fist but here
“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say on the pulpit: ‘The Compeller (Al-Jabbar) will seize His heavens and His earths in His Hand’ – and he clenched his hand and started to open and close it – ‘Then He will say: “I am the Compeller, I am the King. Where are the tyrants? Where are the arrogant?” And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was leaning to his right and his left, until I could see the pulpit shaking at the bottom, and I thought that it would fall along with the Messenger of Allah
https://sunnah.com/ibnmajah:4275
Here it is the messenger of Allah that is clenching his fist. So I was wondering if which one it is?

Does Allah love all His believers equally? Sometimes I am really scared that maybe He no longer loves me. My life now is full of hardships, to the point that I pray for death but even that is not granted. My family calls me worthless and curse me for my smallest mistakes, I cannot marry for no man says a word back after they see my bio data. Nor can I go abroad because I lack funds. I suffer from severe depression to the point that even getting out of bed is difficult. Going to a doctor is impossible because of how bad corona situation is. So I am unable to pray my salah or even function properly. I feel so stuck that death seems the only beautiful release. Yet Allah refuses to grant me even death. So I wonder is it possible that at times Allah can stop caring about His believer?

I also don’t look very arab so it sort of proves my identity to other Arabs and muslims. Because I like talking and associating with arabs and muslims more. Even as small as a smile of recognition. And please if you will answer I want actual hadith or ayah in the Quran saying so. Because I get it’s very easy to want to say it’s ok or not depending on culture or how it’s portrayed within our culture.

This hadith:
> It has been reported from Sulaiman b. Buraida through his father that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) appointed anyone as leader of an army or detachment he would especially exhort him to fear Allah and to be good to the Muslims who were with him. He would say:
Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war, do not embezzle the spoils; do not break your pledge; and do not mutilate (the dead) bodies; do not kill the children. When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of the Muhajireen and inform them that, if they do so, they shall have all the privileges and obligations of the Muhajireen. If they refuse to migrate, tell them that they will have the status of Bedouin Muslims and will be subjected to the Commands of Allah like other Muslims, but they will not get any share from the spoils of war or Fai' except when they actually fight with the Muslims (against the disbelievers). If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the JizyaIf they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah's help and fight them. When you lay siege to a fort and the besieged appeal to you for protection in the name of Allah and His Prophet, do not accord to them the guarantee of Allah and His Prophet, but accord to them your own guarantee and the guarantee of your companions for it is a lesser sin that the security given by you or your companions be disregarded than that the security granted in the name of Allah and His Prophet be violated. When you besiege a fort and the besieged want you to let them out in accordance with Allah's Command, do not let them come out in accordance with His Command, but do so at your (own) command, for you do not know whether or not you will be able to carry out Allah's behest with regard to them. **[ Darussalam reference: sahih muslim 1731a ]**
narrates a speech of the prophet directed to his army/detachment commander, where the commander is instructed to Prescribe an Ultimatum of
- Convert to Islam
- Pay the Jizya tax
- Fight
specifically in the situation of:
>When you meet the enemies who are polytheists,
My question is, can this Ultimatum be applied to polytheists only in self defense/retaliation or can it be Applied offensively as well (when polytheists have thus far done no wrong to the muslims )? I.e does simply being polytheistic make one eligible to be subject to this ultimatum?

(B) Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhu wa rasooluh
I always said it as (A) since I was young and I still do.
But on the internet people say it as (B).
Have I been saying it wrong? Does that mean all my prayers have been invalid?

Is there any reason to explain why does the number 3 repeats itself in the Islam? Or is it just a coincidence?
*Note: I'm not Muslim, just an agnostic trying to understand this amazing religion better.*
