Or does that just mean the disbelievers? What would happen if I accidentally commit shirk/kufr after that sign, can I not ask for forgiveness anymore? I don’t know how to interpret it and it really scares me now.

This part of Quran 4:23 says > “your step daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in” Does this only apply to step daughters under the second husband’s guardianship or all step daughters?

Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters.
Does the wife in Islamic marriages have a say in whether the husband gets to marry more women?
In Islam, a man can marry up to 4 women, but can a wife reject that proposal?
I feel like some women wouldn't be comfortable with that and wouldn't wish to "share" their husband, and I've read that the only solution for women who don't want to be with a husband who wishes to marry more women is to divorce their husband according to their "marriage contract", but is it really just an either-or?
I'm a man myself, but I was just curious about this.
Of course, if it's not allowed, then I cannot disagree with the word of Allah.
Allah knows best. Thank you.
Edit: Again, for anyone reading my comment and thinking about disliking or are mad about it, I'm not against it if Allah has said it's impermissible. I will put my own feelings and opinions aside always if Allah has said how it is. I know Allah knows best and that my personal opinion has no say in Islamic rules. So I kindly ask anyone that's come across this question to not take it the wrong way. I'm simply curious.

All Praise to Allah Swt and blessings on Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him His family and companions
**What should parents do when their kids go to Public Schools in those countries where schools are eager to celebrate Halloween, Christmas or their other religious celebrations**
1. Should their kids not participate in those activities and tell the teachers that they are not interested or can they do some activities like wearing costumes for Halloween ,trick or treat, decorating Christmas tree?
2. Some Masajid arrange special events in same day for Muslim kids like magic shows and others where they distribute candies so kids dont feel to go for trick or treat activities so is it allowed to do such in premises?
3 . What Islam says about those Muslims who participate in nonmuslims religious activities?

When asked about the use of money with images on them, Islam Q&A wrote:

> Islam Q&A Saying "not your fault" suggests it is someone's fault: possibly the person(s) who designed the currency, or perhaps whoever permits its circulation. **Question**: Is anyone at fault for money containing images? In my answer [here](https://islam.stackexchange.com/a/46366/17163) , I look at some online fatwa. From what I observed, most Sunni schools of fiqh (with the exception of Maliki, to some extent; see SeekersHub ) agreed that image making is haram (based on hadith such as Sahih al-Bukhari 5957 ), whereas Shia scholars didn't seem strongly against image making. Moreover, as I understand, the above fatwa is a Salafi (Sunni, Hanbali) fatwa. Thus, I'll ask for a Sunni point of view.

First written source in Isnad
In hadith collections, the isnad is quoted starting from the last in chain back to the first, e.g. Abdullah bin Yusuf related from Malik, from Hisham bin Aroua, from his father...

Abdullah bin Yusuf related from Malik, from Hisham bin Aroua, from his father, from Aisha
In this chain, the hadith was first passed down by word of mouth, and then written down.
My question:
In particular in the practice of Bukhari and Muslim, is the last in chain (in the example Abdullah bin Yusuf) always the first who has written down the hadit or does the chain include written collections/pre-collections?
If the isnad contains written transmission, is it known by whom the hadith was first written down?

Ka'b said: "When a man came and said to the Prophet of Allah, 'Seek rain for the tribe of Muzhar,' I heard the Prophet say: 'You are a bold man. You want me to seek rain for the tribe of Muzhar?' The man said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you have sought victory from Allah and He gave you victory. You supplicated Allah and He answered you.' The Messenger of Allah raised his hands and said: 'O Allah, give us a saving rain, good and productive, general and heavy, now and not later, beneficial and not harmful.' Allah responded to his supplication. It was not long before the people came complaining about the profusion of rain, and damage to their dwellings. The Messenger of Allah raised his hands and said: 'O Allah, around us and not upon us.' The clouds began dispersing left and right. Apparently it is found in ahmad and ibn hajar but i cannot find the isnad in English. Thank you
