Scientific Logic for not praying at Zawal (noon) time
I have read somewhere that at noon time when sun is exactly at up and making a right angle with earth some dangerous rays emit from earth that's why it is forbidden to pray at that time. But i could find any scientific logic behind that. Can any one explain in detail ?

What is the islamic ruling on seeking presidential pardon or royal pardon? I know that the wali or the relative of the victim of a crime has the right to pardon in some cases but what about the laws in some countries which allow rulers to pardon criminals. Is this in the sharia?

If any of you can get one Rak'a of the Fajr prayer before sunrise, he should complete his prayer." (Source ) We are aware that Asr (middle prayer ) is a very important Salah and missing it costs a lot . **So, how has to be the quoted Hadith understood? If we start our prayer before sunset, shall we continue praying even during the sun set?** Jakallahu Khairan.

Although the role and importance of Jesus may be seen very differently, Islam does recognize the existence of Jesus of Nazareth and even give him some critical acclaim as a prophet. However, do they celebrate his birth in any way such as Christians do at Christmas? If so, in what way do they celebrate? This question may seem basic, but we have: > لا نفرق بین احد من رسله So if we accept all prophets then why shouldn't we celebrate their birthdays?

The Qur'an contains the following: > ... and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows** ... -- Qur'an 5:3 > > O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful. -- Qur'an 5:90 I'm curious as to precisely what "divining arrows" is referring to. **Question**: What are "divining arrows" in Qur'an 5:3 and Qur'an 5:90? Google suggests it's some kind of magic, fortune telling, or witchcraft. This post gives an example of someone throwing arrows into the air, and where they land resulting in a decision being made. But I'm still not sure what this "divining arrows" is about.

From Tafsir Ibn Kathir : > No town has denied the truth and then believed when they saw the > scourge, and then their belief benefited them, with the exception of > the people of Yunus. When they lost their Prophet and they thought > that the scourge was close upon them, Allah sent through their hearts > the desire to repent. So they wore woolen fabrics and they separated > each animal from its offspring. They then cried out to Allah for forty > nights. When Allah saw the truth in their hearts and that they were > sincere in their repentance and regrets, He removed the scourge from > them. Does this imply that each and every individual of that Ummah became a believer? Is **Prophet Yunus (Jonah)** the only Prophet to have his entire Ummah turn to Allah (esp after he left them without Allah's permission & was eaten alive by a fish only to repent and be forgiven by Allah)?

Hazrat Fatimah (r.a.) 2. Hazrat Ali (r.a.) 3. Hazrat Hassan (r.a.) 4. Hazrat Hussain (r.a.) I asked them: Why do you consider the above persons only as the Ahle Bayt? Why do you not consider the Prophet's (sas) other daughter's and their children as Ahle Bayt? They said that the Prophet (sas) brought only these 4 persons under his cloak and called them his Ahle Bayt. Then I asked them: Why do you not consider the children of Hazrat Hassan's (r.a.) children as Ahle Bayt? But they did not have an answer. I think all the children of the Prophet (sas) are Ahle Bayt.

I recently came across a quote on FB that was claimed as being a hadith. The summary of the quote was that after the janazah and burial of one's deceased parent, one should stay at their grave, reciting surahs and duas for them for such an amount of time that is equivalent to the time it takes a person to slaughter a camel, skin it and to cut and distribute its meat. Otherwise, the deceased feels as if they have been set adrift in the sea without any support. I wanted to confirm whether this is actually a hadith or not, before forwarding it to others.

I am 23 years old and earning good money after my graduation since 2 years. We are 3 brothers only, no sister. My parents want me to marry a daughter of my aunt, but I do not like her. Instead, I like one of the girls in my family. Both families know each other very well, and have good relationships. I have already declined marriage to my aunt's daughter, but she has no other young boy to marry in our close family, so consequently my family is sort of angry at me. I want to know: How do I convince my parents that I should marry the girl I like? They follow Islam. What stories of Islam I can convey to them? What teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) or from Quran I can refer them about the marriage so they agree me? And am I sinful if I deny my parent's choice? Are parents sinful if they force me?

A baby who dies immediately after birth is guaranteed to go to heaven, while another person who lives till 80 may have to go through suffering of poverty, death of loved ones and risk sinning and going to hell. How is this fair? Shouldn't all humans be tested equally? How can god send someone to heaven without having the chance to prove himself/herself by default?
