Does Islam teach that what a man says will manifest into reality?
In Christianity they have what is called the "gift of prophecy", and in this gift, a man can say a saying and God will turn into what the man said. Does Islam teach it in its doctrine?

Did the Prophet (SAW) not see Allah during the night of ascension?
I ask this question due to this Hadith from Sahih Musllim: It is narrated on the authority of Masruq that he said: > I was resting at (the house of) 'A'isha that she said: O Abu 'A'isha > (kunya of Masruq), there are three things, and he who affirmed even > one of them fabricated the greatest lie ag...
I ask this question due to this Hadith from Sahih Musllim: It is narrated on the authority of Masruq that he said: > I was resting at (the house of) 'A'isha that she said:

O Abu 'A'isha > (kunya of Masruq), there are three things, and he who affirmed even > one of them fabricated the greatest lie against Allah.

I asked that > they were.

She said: **He who presumed that Muhammad (ﷺ) saw his Lord > (with his ocular vision) fabricated the greatest lie against Allah.**

I > was reclining but then sat up and said:
Mother of the Faithful, wait a > bit and do not be in a haste. Has not Allah (Mighty and Majestic) > said:" And truly he saw him on the clear horizon" (Al-Qur'an, Surat > at-Takwir, 81:23 ) and" he saw Him in another descent" (Al-Qur'an, > Surat Najm 53:13 )?

She said: I am the first of this Ummah who asked > the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) about it, and he said:
Verily he is > Gabriel. I have never seen him in his original form in which he was > created except on those two occasions (to which these verses refer); I > saw him descending from the heaven and filling (the space) from the > sky to the earth with the greatness of his bodily structure.

She said: > Have you not heard Allah saying:
"Eyes comprehend Him not, but He > comprehends (all) vision. and He is Subtle, and All-Aware" (Al-Qur'an, > Surat al-An`am 6:103 )?

(She, i.e. 'A'isha, further said):
Have you not > heard that, verily, Allah says:
"And it is not for any human being > that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a > partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, > what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise." (Al-Qur'an, Surat > ash-Shura, 42:51 )

She said: He who presumes that the Messenger of > Allah (ﷺ) concealed anything from the Book of Allah fabricates the > greatest lie against Allah.

Allah says: "O Messenger, announce that > which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then > you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the > people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people." > (Al-Qur'an, Surat al-Ma'idah, 5:67 ).

She said: He who presumes that he > would inform about what was going to happen tomorrow fabricates the > greatest lie against Allah.

And Allah says "Say, 'None in the heavens > and earth knows the unseen except Allah , and they do not perceive > when they will be resurrected.'" (Al-Qur'an, Surat an-Naml, 27:65 ). > > Sahih Muslim - Book 1, Hadith 346

I want to know how the prophet(pbsl) remain chaste before Islam was revealed. He was 25 years old when he married. Considering that sexual desires starts occuring at around 14-15. Considering that he was good-looking therefore would probably get stares or indirect invitations from women (a.k.a women trying to seduce him). Considering he lived in the age of ignorance. Even if the shaytan companion (Qarin) was removed from him when he was young this does not eliminate his natural sex drive. Would like to know if they are any authentic hadiths about the subject.

It's clearly proved from hadith of bukhari that not all companions have Ijma to caliphate of Abu bakr when he delivered the sermon after becoming caliph. https://sunnah.com/bukhari:4240 Imam Shafaee said all scholars need to agree for ijma. Sk. Utheymeen has similar view. > Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said: In linguistic terms, ijmaa‘ means resolve and agreement. In shar‘i terms, it means the agreement of the mujtahids of this ummah after the death of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on a shar‘i ruling. By saying “agreement” we exclude differences of opinion; if there is a difference of opinion, even from one person, then we cannot say that there is ijmaa‘. Source : https://islamqa.info/amp/en/answers/201682 I see contradiction between election of Abu bakr and view of later scholars including imam ash shafaee. Hence the question is the consensus of all scholars a must condition for ijma

**[ [Tafsir Jalalyn 5.67 ](https://quranx.com/Tafsir/Jalal/5.67) ]** I don’t have access to mustadrak, so I just searched in sunnah.com and found >The Prophet (ﷺ) was being guarded until this Ayah was revealed: 'Allah will protect you from mankind.' So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stuck his head out from the room and said: 'O you people! Go away, for Allah shall protect me.'"
**[ [Jami Tirmidhi](https://sunnah.com/tirmidhi:3046) ]** But I don’t know if its sahih, and >Abu Eisa said: This Hadith is Gharib. Is there an Authentic Hadith which says the prophet used to have Guards until 5:67 was revealed? thx guys

I've done good deeds, but not with Allah in mind at the time. *Question*: Do my good deeds committed before converting to Islam count? I have no intuition here. We get our sins erased, so perhaps our good deeds are likewise erased. But that doesn't feel right.

How does this Hadith prove trustworthiness of Prophet (s)

I am reading a book (Iman 100 by Teyba Foundation) and it says: "It was also this trustworthiness that she [Khadija (r)] reminded him of when the revelation first came to him. When he came down from the mountain and was afraid of what occurred and that he feared it may not be something good, she told him in her beautiful words: 'Never! By God, God will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your relatives, help the poor, serve your guests generously, and assist those hit with calamities.' (Sahih al-Bukhari)" That is the exact quote form the book. What I am failing to see is where the hadith refers to the tustworthiness of the Prophet (s). It seems to refer to maintaining kinship bonds etc, but I am not seeing how these things imply trustworthiness. I thought trustworthiness was when you are entrusted things/responsibilities by people and you successfully take care of them and fulfill them. Could it be that the author of the book I am reading meant that Prophet Muhammad (s) fulfilled the trusts and rights of people, and in *that* sense he was trustworthy (as well as the sense I just mentioned of literally taking care of things and tasks given to you by others). tl;dr: In the above quote, what does the author mean by saying "It was also this trustworthiness that she [Khadija (r)] reminded him of", ie how does the hadith mentioned show his trustworthiness?

Salamo3alaykom, as I've asked some minutes ago, I'd like to ask about the meaning of the word or verb صلّى and what I may have understood is that it can mean "praying" or also "sending blessings". Can someone clarify? I've found it quite strange when I've read the traslation of certain ahadith. For example in the tashahhud in a part we say Allahumma salli 3ala Muhammad wa 3la ali Muhammadin, kama sallayta 3la Ibrahim wa 3la ali Ibrahim, Wa barik 3la Muhammad wala 3ali Muhammad[...]" Now I want to ask, what does "salli" exactly mean in this context? I know that Salah means prayer but Allah subhana wa ta'ala does NOT pray on Muhammad since He Is Allah the All-Mighty. So Allah DOES NOT PRAY BECAUSE HE IS THE ALL MIGHTY! Can someone clarify this thing for me please? Jazakon Allah
