Is it okay If I go up to her and introduce myself, I really want to convert her to muslim by telling more of Islam. And if she really loves me back (because she looked at me with her friends) she will listen to me. Also we won't convert because she loves me but she loves Allah, and Allah doesn't have a problem with people who convert

Today, I've watched a video on Youtube regarding common martial issues and got to know that the origin of those marital problems is in the concept of "Joint Family" -(which you will see in the sub-continent), most of the time 2 scenarios are happening in the joint families, either the in-laws are wrong and evildoer or the wives are the evil persons in making of those chaoses in the family. And it is totally unacceptable -the habit of living together under the same roof ; and in those family a man marries a woman and she is bound to act like a servant of his family and this is not islam -- these are things I've learnt so far from the video (made by a renowned Sheikh). My question is, what would be the perfect flawless family format, in what structure the family should construct in, if the sons start living separately then whom the parents will live with? Or who will take care of them, you know what I mean. So please provide me with an eloquent elaborate answer of this matter with authentic evidences. Thanks in Advance! Jazakallah!

Asalamu Alaykum, I have recently come across verse 16:26 in the Quran and I would like to understand the wisdom behind it. “Those before them had already plotted, but Allah came at their building from the foundations, so the roof fell upon them from above them, and the punishment came to them from where they did not perceive.” I would be very grateful if somebody could explain to me Allah’s wisdom in stating that roof fell from above them because I thought that was already implied. Any help with greatly be appreciated. JazakAllah.

He > said, "It is to marry the daughter of a man and marry one's daughter > to that man (at the same time) without Mahr (in both cases); or to > marry the sister of a man and marry one's own sister to that man > without Mahr." Some people said, "If one, by a trick, marries on the > basis of Shighar, **the marriage is valid but its condition is illegal**." > The same scholar said regarding Al-Mut'a, "The marriage is invalid and > its condition is illegal." Some others said, "**The Mut'a and the > Shighar are permissible but the condition is illegal**." For a marriage to be legal all its conditions must be met.
Can a marriage be valid even if its conditions are illegal? **What does it man by the marriage is valid but its condition is illegal?**

Is it permissible to re-use the water that has been already used [by myself] for ablution?
At times, I get this feeling that while making ablution / وضو it would be nice if I could collect in a container and use the ablution water a second time [for my ablution], specially seeing that water crisis is about to escalate in my country. Is this permissible? Ajrukum Ind-Allah.

I know this is an obvious question, but I usually find some stories bias. Please include resources to back-up your opinion. Ok taking a very basic example...women can't look at the moon. And we shouldn't go outside after its magjib time. And men can do both of those. Also, there is an American friend and she is really into women's right (usually catholic women's right)....and whenever I talk to her, she mentions that Muslim women in other countries don't have rights. For example, she says in Saudi women can't drive. And we have to wear hijab, niqab, and abaya. I am a hijabi, so I just tell her we choose to wear hijab, in my case i was not forced. Or in Saudi, women use the taxi/auto ricksha and those are the main source of transportation. But then there are news where women are mistreated with such violence and abuse...that's hard to explain. And the main reason between those mistreat is when a man thinks he is superior to a woman.

Actually I had been fined by an rpf court of law for entering into the railway platform without platform ticket. During the time of filling the application form somebody told me it's just a petty case already closed so no need to mention. So I did it. Will my salary be halal or haram?

Ibn Khaldun, in the chapter “On the Rational Sciences and their Kinds” (al-’ulum al-'aqliyyah wa asnafuha) of his Muqaddimah, says: “At the time of the conquest of Iran many books of that country fell into the hands of the Arabs. Sa'd ibn Abi al-Waqqas wrote to ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab asking his permission to have them translated for Muslims. 'Umar wrote to him in reply that he should cast them into water, “for if what is written in those books is guidance, God has given us a better guide; and if that which is in those books is misleading, God has saved us from their evil.” Accordingly those books were cast into water or fire, and the sciences of the Iranians that were contained in them were destroyed and did not reach us. Why did Caliph Omar burn books in Persia or is it a myth?

On some websites like Islamqa.info, Islamqa.org, and so on, I found that serving a husband is obligatory for a wife if what he orders is permissible(halal). Does it mean that if he orders her how and what to cook, sleep, sit, make, and do, do that, take it from here to there, move it, stand there, sit there, and so on as long as it doesn't contradict Shariah? If what he orders halal, is the wife obligated to obey in every order? Please answer with reference to hadiths and fatwas that I can read in English or translate in English.
