Is it permissible to buy clothes you really like but don't need, while also doing some sadqah and being thankful to Allah

I am a working woman. This has happened to me a couple of times. I sometimes find very beautiful clothes and I buy them, even when I don't necessarily need them; and since I am overweight, so I look fat in whatever I wear. But those clothes look so pretty and I buy them. They are *not* overly expensive clothes. They are normal in price range and will be useful if I stay in the country. However, I may be deciding to apply for higher studies abroad in colder countries (even though it will take at least a year even if it happens), so these clothes won't work there. Those clothes have served me in the sense that when family friends (not non-mahram) visit us or meet me in social gatherings, they find me well-dressed, decently dressed, well behaved etc. (alhamdoliAllah), and have mentioned that here and there (alhamdoliAllah and mashaAllah), even in contexts of marriage proposals. On the other hand, my savings account has very little money, so what will I do if Godforbid I get sick and can not afford treatment. But I give in to my temptation and buy clothes etc. When I buy somethings like this, I also do a little bit of sadqah (may Allah accept. Ameen). I also suffer from anxiety and Attention Deficit Disorder, so shaitan puts doubts in my mind in every aspect of my life. So I want to know if I am committing a sin or is shaitan unnecessarily trying to make me confused, unhappy etc. and distract me from ibadah and what truly matters. Please guide me in light of Quran and authentic hadith.

Understanding the Ruling on being in an isolated place for opposite gender

I came across this fatwa and I can understand to the point that it is forbidden to be in 'an isolated Place' in which a man and a woman will be together based on the hadiths in the fatwa . But in what contexts were these hadiths told by the prophet (pbuh) ? Can you state some situations where else the word 'khalwah' has been used ? (During the time of prophet) What are other fatwas or interpretations of these hadiths ?(Sunni opinions) If I take this fatwa too seriously, I cannot enter even shops where there is only a female sitting, same would apply for my sister/mother/wife who would want to shop. Neither can I enter in a taxi which would be driven by a female. Also, if I am walking on an isolated street and a woman is Approaching, I must suddenly run away to the closest shop that has at least a male. The practicality of such fatwas is really questionable. My purpose of asking this question is to simply categorize the places I visit. For me the definition of isolated place is where you intentionally go with the expectation that no one else can know your presence with the woman.(examples: an isolated field visit purposely, locked room etc) The places that do not fall in this category of isolated places: shops, taxis, streets, common rooms in offices/schools where anyone can enter exit/enter anytime etc.

Assalamulikum, This question has been circling my mind. My parents have been divorced since I was 7 and my mother and I live in the united states while my father lives in a different country. As a female, I know that my father must approve of my marriage however this is difficult for many reasons. He can't come to the united states (he isn't a citizen nor has the ability), I cant go to him and he also most likely won't agree just to be rude to my mom. So what do I do in that situation? I don't have a brother and my uncles etc, don't live in the united states. Are they allowed to "give my hand" over face time or something similiar? If not then what the solution? Jazakum Allah Khair

After Fardh salah saying a wazifah then blow on your fingers and rub your eyes Sunnah?
Some Muslims after a Fardh Salaah recite a wazifah (Allah's name or Ya Nur or Quranic ayah) so many times you then blow on your fingers and rub over your eyes. Virtue of doing so is Allah will strengthen your eyes and protect them from seeing haraam. Is this proven from the sources or bid'ah please?

Thank you very much

In this time period, There are two Salahs, Asr and Magrib. But the problem is that his Tuition teacher doesn't let him go to the mosque or let him pray at home. And If my Friend doesn't obey him. He beats him up. My friend told me that his Sir never prays Salah expect Jumma or Eid. And nowadays, He doesn't let him go. Sometimes my friend lies to his Sir so he can go and pray and in that condition his sir lets him go. But he cannot Lie everyday. So what should he do so that he can go and pray in time? And will the teacher be sinned for all the Salah's my friend leave because it is not under control of my friend. And if my friend doesn't obey. He beats him up a lot.

Divergence (unevenness) in provisions of favours of Allah (health, wealth, phisical abilities, prosperity) among humans. [6:165; 43:32; 16:71]
I came accross sura 6:165, where Allah (SWT) says following: "And it is He who has made you successors upon the earth and **has raised some of you above others in degrees [of rank]** that He may try you through what He has given you. I came accross sura 6:165, where Allah (SWT) says following: "And it is He who has made you successors upon the earth and **has raised some of you above others in degrees [of rank]** that He may try you through what He has given you. Indeed, your Lord is swift in penalty; but indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful. (Al-An'am 6:165 / Sahih International) I was particularly interested in the reason for raising some above others. While trying to find the answer, I also came accross 16:71, 43:32 and 4:32 - which also speak about "different levels" being gransted to different people. In essense, I understand this is about testing people - Allah (SWT) gives to some more and less to others (be it health, wealth, etc); he tests and wants to see how would people deal with the wealth given and expects humans to distribute the wealth and follow the guidance related to charity, giving and supporting others provided in Quran. However, what I dont understand is why has Allah (SWT) chosen such a way to test people, since in a such an approach, inevitably some become poor and some become rich, some suffer while others prosper. I wonder if there is any explanation to this by any of the scholars or researchers? Many thanks!

Why were the Angels told to prostrate to Adam (AS)?
We are only allowed to prostrate to Allah (swt) otherwise we are committing shirk. Then why were the Angels told to make sajda / go down to sujood for Adam (AS)? Also Yousuf (AS) saw a dream that the planets were prostrating to him which turned out that his brothers prostrated to him.
