As Salamu Alaikum I'm a music composer and sound effects creator, and I mostly do freelance work in music and sound effects design. I will leave this field permanently after I learn some halal skills such as programming. but for now, I'm holding music because I'm from a third-world country, my family is poor, and I have a big responsibility to feed my family (my father, mother, and brother). but I have a plan to leave this music field. I have been getting a serious question in my mind that even I can't sleep. Much of my music and sound effects have been sold to many game developers and game companies. The game company uses my music and sound effects in their game. Among those games, there is some fantasy game that has some shirk and kufr. Example:- If the game character is dead they can be revived by using the magic to bring the character back to life. My music and sound effect is used in these kinds of games. My question is, am I getting out of the fold of Islam that my music and sound effect is used in those kinds of games even though I know it? Do note that I don't believe in any kind of fantasy things in these games.

In the glorious Quran I have always wondered about the verses where *cry* and *crying* are mentioned. The tafsir of such verses did not shed light on the questions I had. My query is one but for the sake of better understanding I have divided it onto two sub-questions. - do we really need to cry in our lives, and does it shows weakness in character? *(If we are unable to, are we accountable)* - does crying of the one vary in type and nature from person to another?.*(suppose two persons are afflicted with same calamity and one cries when the other does not,is this patience or hypocrisy)* I am searching for an answer from Islamic perspective in the light of Quran and Sunnah, not psychological view. The understanding that I search for is the significance of this concept in the Quran and also as we can see prophet Muhammad (SAW) also cried on various occasions to varying degrees. Pls correct me if there is a difficulty in understanding my question. Note: I could not find any other relevant tags to this question.

Consideration of weak hadiths
Why do we even quote or keep accounts of weak hadith if they are "weak"? As per my understanding, they are weak because their authenticity is not confirmed because of some reasons. So if there is doubt about them, why don't we totally disregard them?

Salam! Today, I came across a question on ask.ghamdi.org forum. I'm curious to know the answer. The question is: The city in which I’m currently living in has loyalty program where if I buy a member card (with money), I receive a fixed percentage (10%) of amount I spent on buying the member card, each month. The fixed percentage is in the form of points that I can spend only on specific vendors. When I want to cancel the membership, The program deducts the same percentage (10%) of amount and returned the remaining amount. For example: I bought the membership with 100$. Now each month I receive 10% of 100$ i.e. 10 points (1 point = 1 $) When I want to cancel, the program deducts 10% of 100$ and give me 90$ My question is about the 10% I’m receiving each month: Is it SOOD? Nayl al-Awtaar, 7/295, 296. https://islamqa.info/en/answers/8980/who-is-the-one-who-should-carry-out-the-hadd-punishment-for-zina Usually if one did zina, the case is analysed and witnesses will be assessed by the state to give hudud. But is it the same when it comes to a slave doing zina? The quote above seems to imply that the state is not involved in giving the hudud punishments on the slave and it is only the owner who decides. What if the owner is unjust?

Somehow I only ever see it discussed in terms of dunya, perhaps because those theological problems are mostly matters of dunya. So I'm wondering: **Question:** What positions do the schools of aqidah hold regarding whether humans will have free will in akhirah? (Possibly this only affects the inhabitants of paradise since the inhabitants of hell aren't really in a situation to fulfill their desires)

[If there had been], then each deity would > have taken what it created, and some of them would have [sought to] > overcome others. Exalted is Allāh above what they describe [concerning > Him]. If mere humans can co-exist and co-operate then why can't infinitely wiser divine beings? Even hostile entities like USA and Russia understand the consequences of going nuclear. So if there are multiple godly beings, wouldn't they understand the consequences of unleashing the destruction they are capable of?

I never understood this. I am a Muslim and respect and enjoy looking at beautiful women (naturally). I don't understand why it is so bad to look at a woman. I feel a new modern Islam should promote women's freedom to dress the way they want, and for men to enjoy them. I don't see anything wrong if a man watches videos of sexually attractive women. *How could it possibly be haram?* She isn't naked, she isn't doing a sex tape or anything. Simply showing off her fit body in beautiful lingerie. Men watch it, enjoy it, and have fun with it. Some women also watch it and enjoy it. Can we not accept this as a new part of the modern Islam (women's freedom of clothing)? I don't see myself ever giving up enjoying women. I don't commit adultery, or drink, or smoke because I truly see a problem there. But freedom of dress for women and freedom for men to enjoy women, there is *zero* harm in that. I have nothing against women wearing bikinis (showing off how hard they worked on their bodies) rather than woman in burqa. And I don't have a problem with a woman dancing in front of men for their entertainment. What is wrong with that? Things have to make sense in a religion and this clearly does not. Any ideas?

So, I know there is debate about whether Muslim women should cover their faces. From my research: - In the Hanbali madhhab, the dominant opinion is that **covering the face is obligatory** in the presence of non-mahram men, as the face is considered part of a woman's awrah. - **The other three schools**: The Hanafi, Maliki, and Shafi'i madhhabs do not generally regard the face as awrah, and so they **don't consider it obligatory to cover the face**. However, scholars typically say **that if uncovering the face leads to fitnah, then it becomes obligatory to cover it. ** My question is: What does fear of fitnah mean? Who decided whether uncovering the face leads to fitnah? Does that mean if a woman thinks men might be attracted to her, she should cover her face? or is this expected in certain environments?
