Is the "distance of 500 years" mentioned in the hadiths, a distance of walking?

Assalamu Aleikum, I'd like to ask what our prophet meant when he said, **"There are 500 years of distance between each heaven."** I mean, is this '500 years' by walking/marching? I have read some of your fatwas and some tasfers, and it said that 500 years by marching, but I'd like to learn if this is the words of our Prophet or just an interpretation. Can this '500 years' be by riding, at the speed of light, or other kinds of travel? We know for a fact that our universe is so huge, and 500 years of walking is nothing compared to it. Are there other ways to interpret this hadith? Thank you. Following are some of the traditions taken from as-Suyutis al-Haya as-saniya fi l-haya as-sunniya that mention this > Ibn Rāhūya, in his Musnad, Abū š-Šayh and al-Bazzar, on the basis of a > sound chain of transmission that goes back to Abū Darr, report that > God's messenger (God's blessing and peace be with him!) presented the > following teaching: "The interval between heaven and earth is the > distance of 500 years. Hanbal (may God be pleased with him!), in his Musnad, Abū > Dā'ūd, at-Tirmidī, who declares it to be of good quality, Ibn Māğa, > Ibn Abi Aşamm, in his Sunna, Abū Yaʻlā, Ibn Huzayma, at-Tabarānī, al- > Hakim, and giving it a sound derivation Abū š-Šayh have the following > tradition from al-'Abbas b. "Abd al-Muttalib: "We were with the > Prophet (God's blessing and peace be with him!) when he said: 'Do you > know what the distance is between heaven and earth?' - We answered: > 'God and His messenger know better!' - He said: 'Between them there is > a distance of 500 years; and from every heaven to another heaven there > is a distance of 500 years. On what the burden applied for children with rare diseases in Islam?

In Islam, children are considered sinless and under Allah’s mercy until they reach the age of puberty [1] ,[2] . However, some children suffer from painful and fatal diseases such as Tay-Sachs Disease , Canavan Disease , or Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 1) , and pass away without ever reaching the age of accountability. These conditions cause immense physical suffering, even though these children cannot be tested morally or spiritually, as they are sinless. The Quran states, “Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity” (Quran 2:286) . For the children described above, if this burden is not a test for them, **to which part of their existence does this burden apply**, given that their physical suffering clearly exceeds their capacity?

I often get yellow snot during the small ablution when I blow my nose. I know that a simple transparent slime is not najas. But pus, according to most Muslim scholars, is najas. Why am I so worried? Yellow and green snot are most likely purulent. However, I have no malaise, high fever, pain in the sinuses, which means there is no inflammation. I have allergies, and now spring is the period of allergy exacerbation. I do not know if these snot secretions contain pus or not. What should I do now, when such secretions come out during minor ablution, should I perform minor ablution again or not? Are such snot najasa?

I have a question regarding wuduu and purity. I made wuduu and I was packing my clothes as we were heading back home from travelling, as I was packing I touched my dirty clothes my accident that I put on the side for laundry to wash when I head back home (such as dirty undergarments/pajamas). I then just used some sanitiser and prayed as it was prayer time maybe after it by a couple of minutes. It’s all dry however there were all in a laundry bag all together before I transferred it to the bag. Should I redo my prayer?

According to [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charismatic_movement) : > The **charismatic movement** is the international trend of historically mainstream Christian congregations adopting beliefs and practices similar to Pentecostalism. Fundamental to the movement is the use of spiritual gifts (charismata). > > Among Anglicans, the charismatic movement emerged in 1958; it reached Lutherans and Presbyterians in 1962. Among Roman Catholics, it spread around 1967. Methodists became involved in the charismatic movement in the 1970s. In my own words, the charismatic movement emphasizes "spiritual gifts" (such as healing, prophecy, speaking in tongues, etc. -- see [1 Corinthians 12](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Corinthians%2012&version=NIV) for a more exhaustive list) and "ecstatic/mystical experiences" (such as the [baptism with the Holy Spirit](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baptism_with_the_Holy_Spirit)) . In more extreme congregations, people may even display very extreme and odd behaviors, such as [shaking or trembling violently](https://psychology.stackexchange.com/questions/25631/is-there-a-scientific-explanation-for-dramatic-body-shaking-and-trembling-in-rel) , [behaving like animals](https://christianity.stackexchange.com/questions/79576/are-there-any-records-of-animal-like-behaviors-outside-the-toronto-blessing) , etc. Is there anything like this in Islam?

How was Ali's reception of the attack on Fatima by Umar (and Abu Bakr)

**Background** According to Shia historians, one of the earliest conflicts between some of the Companions and Ahl al-Bayt is the attack on Fatima's house by Umar in order to arrest/subdue Ali, who refused to give his Bay'ah to Abu Bakr. According to Sulaym ibn Qays, Umar set the door on fire, pushing his way into the house. Upon Fatima's resistance, Umar physically assaulted her using a sheathed sword. While this narration mentions a fight between Ali and Umar, others (Ibn Abi'l-Hadid for example) claim that Ali was busy at the Funeral of the Prophet and did not witness the incident. ibn Qays later mentions that Fatima still carried the bruises from this raid when she died soon after. Some Shia also believe that Muhsin ibn Ali, the youngest son of Ali, brother of Husayn, was killed in miscarriage due to Umar's attack. **How was Ali's reception?** I fail to find later any response from Ali later on this attack; moreover, Islamic historians (both Shia and Sunnah) show later collaboration between both Ali and Umar. Although Shia books mention some clashes, none of them are related to the incident. I personally interpret this incident (if we were to believe the narration's authenticity) to be a great insult to Ahl al-Bayt. My question is: Was there any reverberation from Ali or the early Shia of Ali on this incident? If the answer is no, why?

I have two marriage contracts with the same person. The first marriage took place in a foreign country with a **lower amount of mehr**, and the second contract was executed in our home country with a **higher amount of mehr**. However, before finalizing the first contract, both parties agreed on the higher amount of haq mehr which is mentioned in the **second contract.** The first marriage contract in the foreign country was happened because the marriage court did not permit a higher amount of mehr; there is a maximum limitation on haq mehr in that foreign country. Both our families also live in foreign countries. We did this to simplify the visa transfer process from the bride's father to the groom. Additionally, at that time, both families could not travel to our home country for other reasons. As a result, the first marriage ceremony occurred in the foreign country, and eight months later, the second marriage took place in our home country. **From an Islamic perspective, I would like to clarify which marriage contract holds validity, whether it is the first or the second.** I agree to pay the amount of haq mehr mentioned in the second marriage.

السلام علیکم I wanted to ask that does a women get punished if she doesn't want to get married because she is terrified of her "naseeb" or what her life will be like? I have met many married women (my mother, married sisters, cousins, friends, and aunts e.t.c) and almost all of their lives get ruined after marriage. Whether it is the physical, emotional, financial or sexual abuse or even attempted murder they face by their in-laws or husband's or how they become physically ill due to having children. Many women that I know have arthritis or chronic illness due to having children, and they still have to do all the housework and raise their children while being in constant pain. Many have said to me themselves that they regret marrying and are staying just for the kids. But those kids are then facing abuse by the hands of the parents (me and my sisters included). Due to this I have developed an immense fear of marriage and having children I know that getting married is a sunnah and that children are a blessing but I honestly do not want to get married because just the thought of facing any of these martial problems terrifies me. Many of my sisters and cousins that are staying in their marriages for their children are so frustrated and angry all the time that the children are being negatively impacted. As someone that had to face this kind of abuse from her parents I do not want to harm my future children like this, that is why I do not want to get married and have children. But my mother keeps telling me that as parents it is their farz to get their children married before dying and by refusing I am making it difficult for them to get in jannah, I know that it is important that we have faith in Allah but when it comes to marriage I just don't want to risk it? Does that make it difficult for me or my parents to get good deeds or get in jannah? Will I be making Allah angry by refusing to follow the sunnah?

I want to ask a question out of curiosity, it's a matter of the afterlife. In a hadith that I once read, that the Prophet said "death will be brought in the form of a black and white sheep, then the death will be slaughtered between heaven and hell." Well, my question. If death itself no longer exists, do all of Allah's creatures become immortal? Or only the inhabitants of heaven and hell? Sorry if my question is a bit confusing.
