I'm not an expert on this matter but is there a requirement of some sort regulating the color of the outfit. I rarely see any other color than black and I'm not talking about localized variants of the clothing. Given that black absorb more heat than many other colors, it would seem to be counter-intuitive for such a color to be so common in a hot environment from where niqab/abaya claim to be originated from. Does the color have any significance to it? If so, is it cultural or cited in Islamic sources?

My aunt made a cake and bring it to our home today and i ate one part.
I didnt asked if it was halal since she is a muslim as well so i tought it was ok to eat.
The cake didnt had any odor or alcohol taste. But she said that she brought an already made dough. In the country i live in (France) pre made dough are always made with alcohol (exept ones that are sold in shops owned by muslims but i know she haven't brought it there).
So knowing that i just consumed alcohol i tried to threw it up (took me a long time to do so since im not used to it lol).
I did threw up in the end but im not sure if i got rid of it all or just one bit.
So my question is that i saw that consuming haram food make your duaa be rejected for 40 days. Does it concern any one that does it or just ones that does it willingly ?

I masturbated beside my ex friends child while she was sleeping and I was told it is Haram and is unforgivable 😭💔🙏🥺 please tell me that is not true. I'm so scared. The mother destroyed my relationship with my ex boyfriend & she's determined to keep us apart. What do I do? Her husband is Muslim. Just to clarify I was not masturbating in a sexual way. I was just trying to help myself to sleep. I have been on antidepressants for many years & I believe I have suffered some brain damage from them. They are very dangerous.

How can I leave without them." And he was burnt alive in the train cabin with his family.
I know that if a person dies due to fire he is considered a martyr, this is for the wife and child. But what about the husband? Will his cause be considered suicide? Is this haram, the thing he did?

This universe have so many things that we can feel and can't feel.
What is the reason behind such a big creation? Allah states in His book:
> "Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their
> sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth,
> [saying], "**Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are
> You [above such a thing]**; then protect us from the punishment of the
> Fire." [3:191]
and it seems that everyone should have an understanding of the answer to this question then to be able to confess about it the way Allah expects from us, that the creation is not aimless.
What's the Allah's purpose for this creation? What does the Holy Quran says about it?

I go to school and this girl she always bullies me.(non muslim country)
And she hits me.
I went to the principal about her but nothing was done because there is no proof and this makes me feel very agonized and sad because she always bullies me and never gets punished.I belive in Allah(swt) and I know her day will be here soon when Allah(swt) will make her feel the wrath of the actions she does.I have tried swearing back at her when she does but I decided to stop because I need victory from Allah(swt).
(She is a non muslim)
So please is there any dua, I can make so that she feels what I felt?

I am a freelancer and working with people from all over the world is common for me. But whenever I receive an offer from a client residing in **Israel/France**, I find myself standing in a complete confusion whether to work with them or not. Unfortunately I could not find a clear cut answer for this so posting it here now with high hopes.
So the thing is I am aware I should not do the work with anybody if it involves anything anti-islamic like Betting, Winery etc but in most of the cases, work involved is all good but then I think Israel is an illegal oppressive state and they would get taxes from that client I would work with. So indirectly some of that money is gonna get used against Muslims. Same is the case with France, they promote Islamophobia at a state level and do other blasphemic contests as well. So a French person's tax is gonna get used by their Govt in in that regard too. So wouldn't it be Haram to get involved with such people and work?
I understand somebody may think that this logic makes working Haram with US citizens as well because they launch anti-muslim activities too but the thing (I think) is US does not do it openly. Those are their secret missions or what so ever. But France and Israel do it openly and back such anti-islamic activities publicly.
Share your valuable thoughts please.

Is violence especially discouraged during Ramadan?
I've heard people talk about Ramadan as a month that's meant to be peaceful, but I'm worried that they may be Christians who think that if Christmas is supposed to be peaceful, then the same must be true about Ramadan.
I tried looking at the "religious practices" and "crime" sections of Wikipedia's Ramadan article, but couldn't find anything.
Also, are individuals deciding to engage in, or exhorting others to engage in, lesser jihad specifically during Ramadan a modern phenomenon, or did it happen in historical times?

Did Ibn Abbas RA say that only 4 types of food were prohibited and nothing else?
In the book "The lawful and prohibited" by sheikh Yusuf al Qaradawi, he cites an opinion from Ibn Abbas that only 4 types of food are prohibited as mentioned in the verse "Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal...
In the book "The lawful and prohibited" by sheikh Yusuf al Qaradawi, he cites an opinion from Ibn Abbas that only 4 types of food are prohibited as mentioned in the verse "Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah. But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."
According to Ibn 'Abbas, nothing is haram other than the four categories mentioned in the Qur'an, while what the Prophet (pbuh) forbade, such as beasts of prey, are to be regarded as makruh (detestable) rather than reaching the degree of haram. Said ibn 'Abbas,
"The people of the time of Jahiliyyah ate certain foods and avoided others, according to their whim. Then Allah sent His Prophet (pbuh) and revealed His Book, and He legislated what is permissible and what is prohibited. Accordingly, what He permitted is halal, what He prohibited is haram , and that concerning which He was silent is allowed.
Ibn 'Abbas then recited.
4 Say: I do not find in what is revealed to me anything prohibited to an
eater in his food...
(Al-An'am: 145) (2)
On the basis of this verse, Ibn 'Abbas argued that the flesh of domesticated donkeys is permissible. Imam Malik agrees with him on this matter, considering beasts of prey makruh rather than haram.
Reference: The lawful and prohibited page 51
The footnote on the bottom says this was a saying of Ibn Abbas recorded in Abu Dawud although the exact reference number was not given. Is this authentic and where can I find it?
