What is the ruling for men having long hair?
I have heard before that it is not a permissible act for men to keep their hair longs. It seems it is recommended to have short hair for men. My question is: What is the ruling of having long hair for men? Indeed, does Islam agree with men who have long hair?

I have really bad anxiety and I think I have intrusive thoughts/OCD. I have these awful thoughts that disrespects Allah(SWT) and I am scared. I keep doing my shahada because these thoughts sometimes commit blasphemy! I hate my self for them. I am also in constant fear that I hurt people because sometimes my thoughts say awful things about people. I say I don’t mean it but at this point I am not sure because I can’t stop thinking these awful thoughts. I am so scared of giving people evil eye because of these thoughts. So every time I have these thoughts I always ask Allah for forgiveness and I pray that it doesn’t effect people. I am also in constant fear that I am committing shirk because of these thoughts. These thoughts get extra loud especially when I pray. My heart hurts because of these thoughts. I don’t know what to do. So my question is. Can you commit shirk in the mind? And can you give evil eye from the mind?

Also, I want to collect Japanese toys as well (such examples are plushies and/or figma of Hatsune Miku or plushies and/or nendoroid of "Himouto! Umaru-Chan"). Would it be classified under buying statues? I am looking for a Sunni point of view.

Salam, so this is worrying me a lot and I would really like someone to help me please Is it shirk to say I won’t be rude about a certain person for another person’s sake to not offend them? As earlier I was in the shower and was going to perform wudu but before I did I was thinking about a grandmother I don’t really like much and I got the idea to make fun of her mother to her (who had died) I know this is haram and I’d never do it but then I said to myself that I wouldn’t do that as I really like her brother and for his sake as he’d probably get really offended, I then said something like and for Allah’s sake Can someone please reply to this as soon as possible as it’s worrying me a lot Thank you very much

Is there an „Eternal Decree“ in the Preserved Tablet?

Selam aleikum, I saw this Hadith on a topic about predestination: > And the Prophet (r) also said, “The first thing that Allaah created was the Pen and He said to it, ‘Write!’ It (the Pen) asked, ‘O Lord! What shall I write?’ He said, ‘Write the Decree of everything (that will occur) until the Hour is established.“ (Sunan Abu Dawud, vol. 3, p. 1317, no. 4683 and authenticated by al-Albaanee in Sharh al- ‘Aqeedah at-Tahaawiyyah, p. 264 and in as-Silsilah, vol. 1, no. 207) So it says, write the events until the Day of Jugdement, as i understand it. But I read from two sources, that they call this Eternal Decree, but the phrase „until the Hour“, wouldn’t that be limited to a specific term? The Sources: > https://www.muslim-library.com/dl/books/english_Predestination_Qadar.pdf >https://yaqeeninstitute.org/justin-parrott/reconciling-the-divine-decree-and-free-will-in-islam Does every scholar consider it this way (so it just also contains the events until the Hour and more than that) or did I misunderstood it?

Please dont judge, but this is something I've been worried about for a while. I converted to Islam a few weeks ago and I started to try and be more religious lately but I feel like I might have some ocd, when I pray or do wudu, I get worried that I didnt do it right. And I feel like I make mistakes on accident that take me out of islam, and so I repent and I repeat the shahadah a lot too, and still sometimes I'm worried that I'm not a muslim, and that I have to repeat my conversion process. For example, I performed ghusl today and prayed, but then I said something while talking to my friends that made me worried and feel like I may have accidentally made fun of a part of Islam, so I said astaghfirullah and repeated the shahadah again. Is this normal, and am I still a Muslim?

I was under the impression that Islam allowed only defensive jihad and used to argue with non muslims that initiation is not to be done by muslims. Courtesy to zakir naik explaination. A random non muslim presented before me the hadith of bukhari which said "i have been sent with the sword". Investigation and subsequent search only yielded the opposite. **Intiative in war can be taken by a ruler only**. Since its axiomatic that defence is permitted in sacred months, Dhul Hijjah(12th), Dhul Qadah (11th), Rajab (7th) and Muharram (1st). The Question arises how do peaceful muslims explain Allah forbidding fighting in sacred months. > Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them **four are sacred**. That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein, and **fight against the Mushrikin (idolaters) collectively** as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allah is with those who have Taqwa quran 9:36 Im asking this because i fear a verse from quran. > And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers - **We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell**, and evil it is as a destination. Quran 4:115

Salam, I understand the great lengths the scholars of hadith did to preserve the hadith. Rather, I am aware that Allah wants to protect our deen, which I have seen include the preservation of the Sunnah. My question is, if there are clear differences of opinion about certain hadiths which may carry important legal ramifications, how do we reconcile that with the fact that the Sunnah was preserved and protected by Allah? Jazakallah khair, thank you all.

Not understanding the 5th nullifier set by Muhammad ibn abd al Wahhab

As per the 5th nullifier, it states that "whoever hates something that was brought by the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), even if he complies with it, is a disbeliever." but how can it be if that hate is naturally instilled in the heart and is a natural taste/preference of the individual? I perfectly understand that ridiculing or crticizing outwardly is kufr, but I don't understand how can a person become a disbeliever if they hate (parts of) the Sharia despite of them forcing themselves to comply with it? Shouldn't the attempt and the effort be rewarded instead of one's inclinations of preferences? I mean, what if Allah (swt) created that person that way? How can it be their fault for a characteristic that does not depend on them in the first place? I can understand if the disliking translates into action only, but not otherwise as long as efforts are made.

Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it (as charitable gifts). Sahih al-Bukhari 2476 https://sunnah.com/bukhari:2476 . Two people were arguing that jesus will lead prayer from dhuhr because he will be amir ul mumineen. Another said mahdi will continue as amir ul mumineen even after coming of eesa. Mahdi will lead fajr is unanimously accepted by all when Jesus prays first fajr during his second coming. Hence im asking does the hadith prove will jesus be amir ul mumineen?
