Mutawatir is when a narration gains a huge amount of narrators that it being a lie has basically become impossible, in other words there would basically be no doubt in regards to it's authenticity. But Tawtur has terms, and the terms have been split into Mutaffaq alaih/that which has been agreed upon, and Al Mukhtalaf Feeh/that which there is difference upon. So the question is, what are the terms that fall under Mutaffaq Alaih (متفق عليه) ? and what are those terms which fall under Mukhtalaf feeh (مختلف فيه) ?

Is it sinful to make a dua to ask Allah to reject another person's dua?

Not long ago, I would make a dua or wish to Allah to not only curse but to not grant the duas of the intended victim in the afterlife. I asked this question before but O was adviced to make it more clear. It is not just me but I am sure many does it. The thing is, does Allah listen to the dua of the men more than women's dua. And does Allah grant the more better Muslim dua over the average Muslim? Long ago, this boy who used to bully me said that he is making a dua in which it will make Allah not to grant any of my wishes in the afterlife. He also said that since he is a boy, I cannot undo this curse of his. Will Allah apprive of the boy's dua because his gender is higher? Also, I am not sure if this is the whsipering of tbe devil but... do pious people control our duas. I have been envious of the Prophet SAW because of the thought that he would ask Allah not to grant a dua he may not like. Since Allah is close to Muhammad SAW, I think he might do it for him. Is this the devil's whispering? I am sad because I am mentally veing trialed. I need help. The thing is, does ANYONE has the right to have a say in if Allah rewards someone even the Prophet SAW himself? I cursed that boy mainly due to anger, hate, and greed. Did the Prophet SAW did not hate his enemies that cursed and bullied him like the boy in my life? I know I should have a good opinion of Allah but I cannot sleep well and I have been crying. I was told by many Muslim men that because I am a woman, their duas will rule and control over me.

I don't know what a good beginning is this for this kind of situation. So I'll just start right off the bat. My father always hit me against my head since I was a little boy around 2 till 3 years as far as I remembered. And every year it seems that it creates some sort of normal behaviour to him. I'm now 20 years old and I'm sick of it. Today it happened again. He always hit me against my head this time because I argued with my stepmom about not washing your hands which causes the stairs to be filthy. I don't argue much with my stepmom but when I do I just correct every major flaw in her reasoning. My father had enough of the debate and approached me to shut up and I didn't. So he hit me and every time he assaults me I just don't want to hit him back because I want to have respect for my only living parent. >Now my question is "Can I sue him in court go against some laws in quran because I can't find anything in the soerat baqara about this situation? Will it" because I can perfectly live now by myself. The only thing that holds me back are my sisters, my older brother and my younger brother. But I can't find a solution to this matter especially when my father makes it worse by saying "Drown in your misery" in tmazight. I never tried reasoning with him because I think he will most likely just get more mad. It seems that after all that he has done for my siblings and me he can do whatever he wants with us when it comes to hitting us. Can I hit him back in self-defense? I also know that a lot children face the same problem because it is almost tradition in our culture to hit children when they don't listen to their parents. But I'm strongly against this way of educating your own child. Please help me before I really go to court and sue him. >I'd appreciate citations to dig into the theory.

First, this is not meant to be an insulting or hateful question. Please prayerfully consider answering it for the sake of a true seeker soul. I have long respected and honored Islam and the Prophet Mohammed. I intend no harm. However, I have often considered becoming a Muslim, but have been held back by several things. The following is one of them that I hope to resolve. Might I add that one of my closest life long friends is a Muslim and I am close to a local Sheikh and pray often at local Masjids. There is nothing hateful meant by this inquiry. I just want to learn. There are stories of the Prophet's life that are horrendous, most of which I have no clue how to resolve their veracity. One example would be the murder of Umm Qirfa. This anti-Muslim site, here tells much of the story from what appear to be real sources from Hadith, etc. Is this story true? How can anyone justify so inhumane a murder? Thank you,

Muhammad engaged in a number of battles in his lifetime; see Wikipedia for a list. If it were anyone else, it stands to reason that he could have been killed in any of these. Of course, Muhammad had an essential task to accomplish, conveying the Qur'an, and being killed would have left it incomplete. So perhaps Allah would not have allowed this to happen. **Question**: Could Muhammad have been killed in battle? I'm seeking scholarly opinion on this matter, i.e., what's generally agreed upon, and not simply some Internet theory. So please back up any answers. What I know so far: - Qur'an 2:61 says "...that was because they [repeatedly] disbelieved in the signs of Allah and **killed the prophets without right**...". So it seems it is possible to kill prophets without Allah's intervention. - Muhammad did eventually die. As I understand, he was eventually killed by being poisoned: > A Jewess brought a poisoned (cooked) sheep for the Prophet who ate from it. She was brought to the Prophet and he was asked, "Shall we kill her?" He said, "No." I continued to see the effect of the poison on the palate of the mouth of Allah's Messenger. -- Narrated Anas bin Malik (sunnah.com ) Googling the title of this question yields a bunch of unflattering and unhelpful webpages. Actually, I'm not sure where to look in answering this question. (And apologies for asking about this unpleasant topic.)

Hence people say not to share something because of the evil eye. If that is true, then what can a person do to share his good news or share new job etc. How can one tell if someone has evil eye on him and how will they remove it?

As a high school student I am extremely confused about the compromise between religion and occupation. I'm aware that there are guidelines for this but say you wanted to do nursing or medical school, you would have to go through the clinical practice which involves association with the opposite gender, so would that be Islamically acceptable? Keeping in mind the situations you would face for example, during clinical practice in nursing, you will be taught and expected to know how to "clean up" a patient whether it be male or female, and this would mean being exposed to body parts of the opposite gender? Is that allowed? Also as a doctor you will obviously have to go through the practice (residency) in which you will face diseases involving the opposite gender in certain areas? I just wanted to clarify if this was okay and if there are barriers, what would the other options be. (no matter what career out of the 2, you will still have to go through the building blocks and they can't be discarded, how will this work?) Jazakhallah for taking the time to address my questions. Ps.I know a few Muslim nurses in full hijab that practice but I just feel uncomfortable after realizing the part where I will have to deal with visual content of the opposite gender.

I heard that Hanafi scholars don't consider feet part of the awrah, but Wikipedia says "99% of Indonesian Muslims mainly follow the Shafi'i school of Sunni jurisprudence". As all Muslims believe, the Quran was reveled by God to the prophet Muhammed (SAW), and this is what we define as devine revelation. *Furthermore I will use the word **wahy** as a synonym to "devine revelation to the Prophet Muhammed".* We believe this is true: The whole QURAN is wahy. **Does that mean that ALL wahy is in the Quran?** (Excluding abrogated verses) *As a logical example; All lions are cats, whereas not all cats are lions.* - If the answer is NO, then what makes some wahy to be part of the Quran and other not (excluding abrogated verses)? - If the answer is YES, then how does one explain hadiths like this: *(If **all** wahy was in the Quran, then this would be expected to be there too.)* > Allah revealed to me that we should be humble amongst ourselves and none should show pride upon the others ... ‏إن الله تعالى أوحى إلي أن Sahih Muslim Answer the bold question, then one of the sub questions. If possible, provide references. ---------- EDIT: This might be a duplicate of the question: "Does the Quran contain all of Allah's revelations? (Sunni view) ", but as my question includes some sub questions which aren't included in the other question or addressed in the answers, therefore I do not consider it as duplicate. Also I am not only looking for the Sunni view (i don't think there is a difference anyway).
