The Prophet Muhammad's Response to Aisha

Sahih al-Bukhari 3821: > Once Hala bint Khuwailid, Khadija's sister, asked the permission of > the Prophet to enter. On that, the Prophet remembered the way Khadija > used to ask permission, and that upset him. He said, "O Allah! Hala!" > So I became jealous and said, "What makes you remember an old woman > amongst the old women of Quraish an old woman (with a teethless mouth) > of red gums who died long ago, and in whose place Allah has given you > somebody better than her?" This website has the response of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): > "Allah did not give me someone in her place. She believed in me when > people denied me, she believed me, when people did not, she supported > me with her money, when people deprived me, Allah has blessed me with > her children and deprived me of the children of people." The website quotes that: Musnad Imam Ahmad 41/356 No. 24864, the verfiers of Hadith graded it as authentic. Is it the case that Bukhari or Muslim do not have the response of the Prophet Muhammad, or that I cannot find it? (Several website has given the further comment of Aisha, that with respect to Khadija, she kept quite after that incident.)

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ All praises are to Allah *"All the praises - present, past and future - are entitled to God alone, because He is the Creator of all things and He is the Bestower of all blessings, whether He may give them directly or indirectly. For example, the heat or light received from the sunshine, is, in fact, a gift of the Sun. Similarly, the original source of all blessings and bounties is Allah though they may come through some intermediate agency.* **Note**: "All kinds of praises" is not correct translation, because there is no limit of God's praises." **Tafseer-E-Usmani by Shabbir Ahmad Usmani.** >Is this tafseer of الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ correct?

## Definition(s) ## Child marriage: An Adult Man getting Married to a Prepubescent Girl. ---------- ## Question ## Does this saying of Allah: > And test the orphans [in their abilities] until they reach marriageable age. **[ S.I Qur’an 4.6 ]** prohibit a child from getting married? ---------- ## Research Effort ## Mahalli&Suyuti commented upon 4:6 >that is, until they have become eligible for it through puberty or [legal] age, which, according to Al-Shafi, is the completion of fifteen years
**[ [Tafsir Jalalyn](https://quranx.com/Tafsir/Jalal/4.6) ]** Ibn Kathir commented on 4:6 >(the age of marriage), the age of puberty, according to Mujahid.
**[ [Tafsir Ibn Kathir l](https://quranx.com/Tafsir/Kathir/4.5) ]** So this verse and these commentaries caused me to think there exists an age of marriage, before which it is not halal to marry, and this age is either Puberty or the Legal Age. But those same commentators have affirmed Child marriage, and intercourse with premenstrual wives by prescribing an iddah for such wives: Mahalli&Suyuti said about 65:4 > those who have not yet menstruated, because of their young age, their period shall [also] be three months
**[ [Tafsir Jalalyn](https://quranx.com/Tafsir/Jalal/65.4) ]** And it is known the Prophet married a child of six years: >Narrated Aisha: that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years
**[ [Bukhari](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:5133) ]** Al-Wahidi records a Hadith which says that 65:4 was a response to the question of a premenstrual girl’s iddah. > *Abu Ishaq al-Muqri informed us > Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Hamdun > Makki ibn Abdan> Abu’l-Azhar> Asbat ibn Muhammad> Mutarrif> Abu Uthman Amr ibn Salim* who said:
When the waiting period for divorced and widowed women was mentioned in Surah Baqarah, Ubayy ibn Kab said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, some women of Medina are saying: there are other women who have not been mentioned!’ He asked him: ‘And who are they?’ He said: ’Those who are too young, those who are too old and those who are pregnant’. And so this verse was revealed”
**[ [Asbab ul nuzul](https://quranx.com/Tafsir/Wahidi/65.4) ]** I don’t know how to make sense of this. Any help is appreciated. Jazakallah

(First Story) - Sahih Muslim 1474 a A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) narrated that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) used to spend time with Zainab daughter of Jahsh and drank honey at her house. She ('A'isha further) said: I and Hafsa agreed that one whom Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) would visit first should say: I notice that you have an odour of the Maghafir (gum of mimosa). He (the Holy Prophet) visited one of them and she said to him like this, whereupon he said: I have taken honey in the house of Zainab bint Jabsh and I will never do it again. It was at this (that the following verse was revealed): 'Why do you hold to be forbidden what Allah has made lawful for you... (up to). If you both ('A'isha and Hafsa) turn to Allah" up to:" And when the Prophet confided an information to one of his wives" (lxvi. 3). This refers to his saying: But I have taken honey. (Second Story) - Sunan an-Nasa'i 3959 It was narrated from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah had a female slave with whom he had intercourse, but 'Aishah and Hafsah would not leave him alone until he said that she was forbidden for him. Then Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: "O Prophet! Why do you forbid (for yourself) that which Allah has allowed to you.' until the end of the Verse. Also in - Tafsīr al-Ṭabarī 66:1 The Prophet prohibits himself from being intimate with his concubine wife to please his other wives. In particular, it is alleged that Hafsa became upset when the Prophet was intimate with Maria the Copt in her house and on her bed, saying: If both grade sahih then can you please tell which one is authentic? I’m confused

I understand that God doesn’t punish us for any thoughts that we have, but I’m confused on if having anger towards a part of Islam would make one a kufr or not. I came across something about men having 72 hoors in paradise and that women will only be able to be with their husbands and that made me a bit upset and angry. I took away these feelings and I don’t feel upset about it anymore because I understand the reason but I’m still worried. Would this count as hating on a part of Islam/kufr?

According to Islamqa , if a Muslim transgresses against the rights of others, then it is essential for him to ask the wronged person for forgiveness: > It says in al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah: Repentance in the sense of > regretting what one has done and resolving not to do it again is not > sufficient to waive the rights that are owed to other people. Whoever > has stolen another person’s wealth, or seized it by force, or has > wronged him in any other way, will not have finished with the matter > by simply regretting it, giving up the sin and resolving not to do it > again. Rather he has to restore those rights. This is a principle on > which the fuqaha (jurists) are unanimously agreed. End quote. > > This has to do with material possessions, such as wealth that has been > taken by force or by deceit. With regard to intangible rights such as > in cases of slander and backbiting, if the person who has been wronged > knows about it, **then it is essential to apologize to him and ask for > his forgiveness**. If he does not know, then he should not be told; > rather the one who wronged him should pray for him and pray for > forgiveness for him, because telling him may upset him and create > enmity and hatred between the two. However, if the wronged person doesn't forgive the transgressor after the latter asks the former for forgiveness, what can the latter do for the expiation of that sin?

I have heard muslims claiming that quran has been perfectly preserved, letter for letter, word for word, dot for dot but I have heard some counter claims as well and have seen a YouTube video by a Christian missionary who purports that are around 31 different qurans. I am not sure if the claims by the Christian missionary are truthful or not. Muslims also try to defend their claims stating that quran was revealed in 7 different styles or ahrufs. Also, as per my knowledge muslims don't have the original quran compiled by uthman. There is also no complete quran available since then and the various quranic fragments such as the sana manuscript and the Birmingham quran that contain variances from the quran of today also add to the confusion. So my question is really simple. I'd like to know if there are any unbiased academic scholars who believe in the perfect preservation of the quran. I would like to start by reading some of their books or opinions because it would help me in clarifying some of my doubts on this topic.

I’m a non Arabic speaking muslim and sometimes I unintentionally mispronounce some words during salat. I have a hard time pronouncing the g in “ghayril” during Al-Fatiha and today I realized i mispronounced it so I tried my best to correct my mistake and continue on. I also feel like I mispronounced a word during tashahhud in the “al” in “ash hadu al la ilaha”, but I didn’t go back and correct this one. I did however ask that Allah forgives me for any mistakes in my prayer while making dua. Would my prayer still be valid?

Bismillah. Alhamdulillahi rabbil-'alamin was-Salatu was-Salam 'ala Sayyidil-Mursalin wa 'ala 'Alihi wa Sahbihi Ajma'in. ---------- I can't find the hadith about a man who will be, allegedly, with Rasulullah ﷺ in Jannah. The Hadith tells a story about a man who in a dream sees Rasulullah ﷺ and Rasulullah ﷺ informs him about a person who will be in Jannah with him for a certain deed. The man wakes up and goes to find that person to find out what kind of deed he committed. The rest of the story reveals following: That person, Rasulullah ﷺ informed about in the dream, gets married with a woman and finds out that the woman has committed Zina before marriage. So, she is not chaste, she is not virgin. But despite this, the person decides to hide this fact in order to save the woman from rumors (and punishment). The conclusion of the story is that the person, who hid the Zina of the woman he married to, will be in Jannah with Rasulullah ﷺ. This is the deed which was informed by Rasulullah ﷺ in the dream. **Anyone knows such hadith?** Assalmu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. ---------- P.S. Tafseer of the hadith also needed.

After ejaculation, do not take a bath before one of the three points mentioned below is done: a) Sleeping for a while. b) Walking at least forty steps. c) Urinating. If one of the three was done and then a person took a bath and thereafter there was a release of semen, it will not be necessary to repeat the bath but Wudhu will break. Washing the area and changing or washing the soiled clothes will suffice. When they believed, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time.**(Quran, 10:98)** so the people of jonah are the only city that benefited from faith? why? does it because they fast 40days? **Bible Jonah:3(4-10)** >4Then Jonah began to go through the city one day’s walk; and he cried out and said, “Yet forty days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” 5Then the people of Nineveh believed in God; and they called a fast and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least of them. 6When the word reached the king of Nineveh, he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes. 7He issued a proclamation and it said, “In Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let man, beast, herd, or flock taste a thing. Do not let them eat or drink water. 8“But both man and beast must be covered with sackcloth; and let men call on God earnestly that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence which is in his hands. 9“Who knows, God may turn and relent and withdraw His burning anger so that we will not perish.” 10When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And He did not do it.
