*(**Note:** Although it is said that Imam Ali, Imam Sadiq and Imam Baqer (peace be upon them) have the most ahadith, but I am looking for the answer by authentic reference)*

Who are the parents of Umm al Baneen (Fatima al Kalabiya), the wife of Ali Ibn Abi Talib and mother of Abbas and three other sons?
I couldn't find any information about her parents, except that her fathers name is Huzam ibn Khalid.
Only mentioning names is not enough, of course. I'd like to know who her father (and mother) was. Was he a companion of the Prophet or of Ali Ibn Abi Talib? When did he live? How did he die?

What is the meaning of "Keep light and overtake" in Ali ibn Abi Talib's sermon?
The following sermon from Ali ibn Abi Talib can be found in Nahj-ul-Balagha as well as in Tarikh al-Tabari. > **فإِنَّ الغَايَةَ أَمَامَكُمْ، وَإِنَّ وَرَاءَكُمُ السَّاعَةَ تَحْدُوكُمْ تَخَفَّفُوا تَلْحَقوا، فَإنَّمَا يُنْتَظَرُ بِأوَّلِكُمْ آخِرُكُمْ .** > > > Your aim (reward or punishment) is bef...
The following sermon from Ali ibn Abi Talib can be found in Nahj-ul-Balagha as well as in Tarikh al-Tabari.
> **فإِنَّ الغَايَةَ أَمَامَكُمْ، وَإِنَّ وَرَاءَكُمُ السَّاعَةَ تَحْدُوكُمْ تَخَفَّفُوا تَلْحَقوا، فَإنَّمَا يُنْتَظَرُ بِأوَّلِكُمْ آخِرُكُمْ .**
>
>
> Your aim (reward or punishment) is before you. Behind your back is the
> hour (of resurrection) which is driving you on. Keep (yourself) light
> and overtake (the forward ones). Your last ones are being awaited by
> the first ones (who have preceded). [Sermon 21]
It is said that Ali's saying "Keep light and overtake" in this sermon is the shortest expression with the deepest meaning. As I understand the first part of it - "keep light" - obviously refering to reduce attachment to material world and restrain from accumulating items/wealth, I am not sure about the second part -"overtake"- and the last sentence of the sermon.
Answer with references would be much appreciated.

If it is, what is Sunni view on it because Shia believe it to be the Prophet choosing Ali to be his successor.

Why Do Shia Muslims use a stone for saying prayers but Sunni Muslims don't?
I have noted that the Shia Muslims use a stone (or soil) called Turbah/Muhr for saying prayers, but the Sunni Muslims don't use that and also consider it something taboo. Why there is such difference in style?

Some brothers say: Asking alive people (parents, teachers, doctors or anybody else) to help us is not Shirk. However asking prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his Ahl-ul-Bayt or other great Martyrs for help is Shirk because they are dead. For example you can see this question on Islam.SE .
My question: We should count Martyrs as dead or alive, while Quran very strongly orders us not to count them as dead?
I accept they are not **biologically** and **legally** alive, but does it mean they aren't aware of us and we are not allowed to call them while Allah says they are alive? For instance angels are not also biologically or legally alive, but they are aware of us and can do many things under permission of Allah.

I keep thinking about why Sunni and Shia and other muslim communities have different opinion about different issues which makes them very difficult for us to follow right path.
Let's take example. sunni and Shia views on Mut'ah are different so I don't know which one is right. We are in one religion and one religion has one law created by Allah so if something is sin by Law that means it is sin and nobody can change it. Sunni community says Mut'ah is haram and Shia community says Mut'ah is halal. What if Mut'ah is halal and we consider is haram and what if it is really haram.
Who would be responsible for a change in view? Who would be a sinner?

I'm learning much about the division of Shia and Sunni Islam from [this wonderful primer](http://www.cfr.org/peace-conflict-and-human-rights/sunni-shia-divide/p33176#!/) by the Council on Foreign Relations. I'm understanding the main divisions resulting from the succession question and understanding the importance of Karbala, etc... I'm seeing generally that Sunni's predominate, but that there is a strong Shia presence in Iraq, Iran, and Azeribaijan.
And then, when I look at this map of the various schools, I'm seeing Oman. They seem to be largely out of the geopolitical debate, and from the "family tree" seem to be an offshoot that is neither Sunni nor Shia.
What exactly are they? How do they differ theologically or historically from Sunni Islam?

In truth, I wonder if it is a Haram act.
(I’m looking for the viewpoint of the scholars (both Shia and Sunni scholars), because there was not any phone device at the time of the Prophet (SAWW), thus rationally there couldn’t be any related hadith regarding it)
