I'm confused over this because on the one hand the word *guardian* implies the protection of women, yet in the West especially, it seems to be viewed very negatively as men deliberately trying to oppress women.
In particular: does guardianship in the Middle-East predate Islam? If not, what motivated its development?

And, imagine someone worships Allah with the intention to achieve success in this world with a little consciousness of the hereafter, meaning that since the materialistic world is now the utmost reality (*family issues, financial issues, marriage life, calamities*) to him rather than the promise of Allah (*because he may be overwhelmed by the hardships that he has gone through or perhaps he wants now to become successful in this life also*), so he prioritises this world over the hereafter. **—** So what has Islam taught us to do concerning this whole matter? I have heard from various sources that during the last time of prophet Muhammad ﷺ in this world jibrail (السلام عليه) recited complete Qur'an to Muhammad ﷺ and he ﷺ recited it completely to zaid ibn thabit (رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽٰ عنه) So, is there any authentic hadith that says this And what about 7 ahruf?

placing a body on his throne mean? Is there an incident behind this verse? Can someone provide me with an explanation for it, preferably with a reference from the books of Tafasir?

I intend on marrying a christian woman who has already been introduced and accepted by my family and her family knows of me too. I’d like to get the nikah done as does she as soon as possible so that we can meet and spend time together more comfortably. Although, I have come to know that the wali of the woman has to be of her religion being her father, although because of our young age and her father still not comftorable with her marrying a muslim, she cant bring up marriage around him as it will anger him as she has hinted at it in the past and it didnt go down well. What is the permissibility of me going straight to an imam to act as her wali or do I have to directly seek permission from her father and if I get a no slowly go down the list of possible walis for her. My idea is we’d do a nikah for the sake of making relations halal as her parents are more akin to dating and want me to be around her for a few years before marrying, which as a muslim I cannot do.

My opinion is that this is an obtuse interpretation, but let's give this some consideration.
**Question**: Is there a concrete reason that Qur'an 5:32 applies to modern-day Muslims, and not only to the "Children of Israel"?
I've read various news articles quoting scholars quote this ayah as applying to all Muslims (perhaps after some terrorist atrocity). I'm also aware that there's other verses that prohibit specific kinds of murder (4:93 and 6:151 ).

I'd like to ask a more general question on how to treat najasah on items in order to clean it (make it tahir again).
As the question is general I expect an answer for all cases that scholars have discussed.
Usually najasah is treated with water, and this is the major and primary solution to regain taharah. But there are other options,
I'd like to know these options for cleaning najasah without water and when they apply?

**My question is, did the prophet ever see a doctor**. It is quite normal that one can get sick and would need to see a doctor but on the other hand, the status of the prophet is so high that it is inappropriate for him to seek a doctor as God is with him and he is more knowledgeable.
