I know that Sural Al Fatiha is obligatory for any salat prayer my doubt is should you recite the Surah al fatiha silently when you are praying behind the Imam during any kind of prayer like Jamat or Jummuah ? Or should you just listen to the faitha silently ? If you don't recite will your prayer be invalid ?

So let’s say there’s a non Muslim brother or sister who has been interested in Islam, learning and planning to revert soon, but they never got the chance to say the Shahada and fully convert because they died before learning more and saying the Shahada, What would happen to them as in would they be considered Muslim of Kaffir?

Salaam. When I was in high school I used to cut myself for dumb reasons (sympathy? attention?) and I would tell friends that my father was the one who had done it and they thought he was abusive. It's been close to 10 years since then, and I'm extremely ashamed of what I did as my father is a great man. Islamically, what do I have to do to be able to right this wrong other than making dua? Asscalamualikum. So I'm kinda confused about using weak hadiths. I looked into it and I understand that you can use weak hadiths for virtues of deeds and stuff to motivate and encourage people to do good, but I'm confused about reading surahs from the Qur'an at spefic times based on weak hadiths. For example surah Waqiah before sleeping will get rid of poverty. Can we follow such hadiths? I saw in Ibn Hajars and Imam An Nawawis book, they mentioned this hadith, but now I'm confused. It makes more sense that a deed has to be proven from a Sahih or Hasan hadith, then it can be supported using weak hadiths to encourage people to do it. Let's say theirs a weak hadith about if you pray 5 times, you will get Paradise or some, it makes sense bec the deed of salah 5 times is already proven from Sahih hadiths. But to say well we can recite so and so surah at so and so time for example before sleep, after eating, etc., based only on a weak hadith, doesn't make any sense to me. Bec the deed isnt proven from even a hasan hadith, so how can one follow that? Can a weak hasith prove a deed like that? Thing is I'm confused about "virtues of deeds" does spefic surahs come under that at spefic times? It makes sense that you cant add a prayer on a weak hadith, but how come you can add a surah at a spefic time? I get that duas can be recited from weak hadiths, but surahs at spefic times? Iam a student from india.I want to use adobe products and using pirated version is is haram so i want to buy genuine products.Adobe provide their products for 1 year subscription monthly(annual plan-paid monthly) The only payment they accept is through credit card as they do not accept debitcard. so if i apply for a credit card and purchase the product with it also repaying the money within the due date(mostly within 2 days i will repay the money) and not causing or leading to a interest. does it will be haraam also i know that by getting a credit card iam agreeing to their agreement thatif i didnt repayed within due date i have to pay interest and also these credit card banks charge the retailer some money when i purchase from them there is no otherway for me and the only way to purchase these things is through credit card CAN I?

I’m obliged to pay zakat this year as I am now earning. I had decided to give the money to someone who took care of my mother before she passed and now this person is seriously ill and is in hospital with a massive bill to pay. She is poor and doesn’t have much money. My husband is now telling me that I shouldn’t be giving the majority of my zakat to my fathers side as I am no longer a daughter of that family but a daughter of my in laws. They are saying that they have poor people that were relying on my zakat. I just wanted to asked is it obligatory for me to prioritise my zakat to my in laws over the lady who helped my mother. I tried to explain to my husband that it’s my zakat and I can choose who it goes to. Please can someone let me know if I am wrong.

I'm confuse about this matter. I want to know if it is permissible for a brother to lie his head in his sister's laps. Like when we go on long journey, my brother keeps a cushion on my laps and lie on it. I don't know if it permissible or not

Salam, most sources that say it is haram are because I'm mimicking Allah's creation by drawing humans, But I still believe Allah is the creator and I'm not worshipping them either. Is my case still haram?

It is narrated in: In Kitab ul-Athar: >Imam Muhammad (RA) has reported from Umar Radiallahu Anhu saying: “I shall issue an operative order that no girl from some high and recognized family should be given in marriage to another having a lesser status.” What is the authenticity of the following? How should it be understood? Likewise, is such an ruling an obligation? Is it now not permissible for a guardian to accept the marriage of someone with a lower lineage to his daughter?

i would like to find a hadith i cannot find. It goes like A man comes to the prophet (ﷺ) and he says he would accept Islam however he won't do a certain part of the Salah ( He won't do Sujud/Do Ruku?) and the prophet (ﷺ) accepts. From my last question and in my research, I have found that the judgment of wearing clothes is dependent on custom. This means that if a majority of men were to wear women's underwear, it would be fully lawful in Islam to wear them as it would not be considered imitation of the other gender. **First question, is my conclusion above true? If not, why?** Men have started to wear women's underwear, purely for their soft fabric and fun colors. There are several websites that promote men to do this, and several social media sites prove that it is becoming slowly becoming common for men to wear women's underwear. I personally enjoy wearing them simply because they are extremely comfortable and have 10 times better colors than men's underwear. It's not clothing that is apparent outward, since it is just underwear. For the context of this question, I am referring to only panties. They do cover me just as well as men's underwear do. as salaamu alaikum, Since my mother is now divorced to her ex-husband this is not my father, we still communicate. Does this mean he is no longer considered my mahram? Should I adjust my behavior around him now that he's no longer my mother's husband? How does this dynamic work? Jazakallah khair for your help.

The conditions for having more than one wife as per my understanding are:- - Treat all wives equally - Provide all wives with the same standard of accommodation If a man is able to meet all these conditions, then can he not have as many wives as he wants to? Why only limit to 4? Why only 4 wives are allowed in Islam?

I am a student. And I have to give presentations and group work. I have done my group work but I feel to embarrass to or public fear of speaking not most of the time bc I want avoid it. And this is taken at Friday. Which will affect my prayer and some others work. So I told them I will do my part but just present it. Because I will be out of town. Is it sinful ? To avoid matter like this ? Because I’m not that strong about my presentation skill. I feel embarrassed.

1.Almost all the restaurants in my area don’t sell halal slaughtered meat(chicken/mutton)so if I eat veg in these restaurants do I always need to ask them about the utensils they use for preparing the veg & non-veg food or just let it be as it might trigger my OCD? 2. Is the issue of contamination of food in Islam real as there is nothing specifically written about it in the hadhees?

I was wondering something, my father owns a restaurant and our food is halal. we work during ramadan and we open just before maghrib so we have a lot of muslims come to break their fast and to eat. if i give my customers their food, do i get the reward for feeding a fasting person like prophet Muhammad said in a hadith even though they pay me for the food?

Depending on how you read the verse of wudhu (5:6 in the Qur'an) you can wash the feet or wipe on them. Sunnis wash the feet as in the 1st reading and wipe on socks in a state of wudhu as in the 2nd reading via the Sunni ahadith. I would like to see reports from the Shi'a where the Prophet (as) actually wiped on his bare feet please. Shi'a don't accept washing the feet at all I understand.
