Aslamwalekum, I am Sunni Hanafi and hanafi don't do raful yadain in Salat. But i see that is in hadeesh that rasool allah(s.a.w) was doing raful yadain.an i want to do Raful Yadain in Hanafi Madhab. Can anyone help me??

Muska is like words on a paper (with Islamic supplications) and then this gets put into something small and you take it with you or have it under your pillow for protection or good luck. Is this permissible or is it bid'ah?

As I've heard everything happens according to the Allah's consent. So imagine there's a cricket match between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Both the team members are worshiping Allah before the game and while playing the game. So in that case how Allah decide who should win the game. And if Pakistan wins then what's the point of worshiping Allah by Afghanistan players? (And other eay round)

There are many hadiths ruling on the 'forefinger rule' but I have no problem with them. I have studied the book, 'Guide to prayer from beginning to end'. There I read hadiths and also from other sources, I got knowledge about the 'forefinger rule' but I didn't get any of them ruling on raising down the finger along with raising it up. So my question is: Should we lower our index finger after testifying with it or is it to be still raised until end of prayer? And also tell me when exactly to raise it and, if it *is* to be moved down, when it is to be done exactly?

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu, Lately I have been having thoughts of shirk pop into my head. The other day I was daydreaming and imagining myself talking to someone and In my mind I swore by something other than Allah which is shirk, except it wasn’t intentional I was just imagining me talking to someone and then all of a sudden I swore by something other than Allah. It just popped into my head as soon as I had the thought I started saying “Astaghfirullah”. Nothing was intentional and it keeps happening to me and replaying in my head. Have I committed shirk?

We usually say landlord for the owner of a house or a particular property. My question is whether calling the owner of the house landlord is shirk?

Assalamu'Alaikum. I want to ask something about video games. If I play a video game that has nothing haram in it and I don't play a lot but abount 2 to 3hrs a day. But I wanted to know if this falls under doubtful matters because it may lead to bigger sins? I noticed I get thoughts about that video game during prayer specifically... even though I am trying hard to not think about it. So if someone can tell me, is this something haram since it effects my prayer? I don't really have any other activities I can do outside, or any friends nearby. So if this is haram, and suggestion of what can be done for having some recreation time? May Allah (SWT) guide us. AMEEN.

I have read a couple of threads regarding this topic but none answered my questions. After a person dies and is buried, the question and answer trial happen. If a person was a bad person, they will get punished in the grave. If the person was a good person, they wouldn't. What happens to the soul of a person, Muslim or non-Muslim, that is cremated? They cannot be buried. Will they also face a trial? Will they also be punished or questioned? How will they be punished if they don't have a grave or a body? I'm just so confused and honestly, wonder what happens to their soul. I would love to hear your opinions with some text or proof from the Quran.

Are there any Quranic verse or Hadith that says Allah can create things out of nothing? If you site this verse: >Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, "Be," and it is. (2:117) Please explain how it conveys creation from nothingness? May be it is obvious from the verse and I am unable to understand it!

I feel like everyone hates me including Allah. I don’t know why I was born but I feel useless. Every time I try to be more religious I feel worse than I already usually do and bad things happen to me, and everyone around me doesn’t like when I try to be. When I do bad things I feel better. Am I just destined to be this way and go to Hell?

When I say that I like men’s clothing I don’t have the intention to imitate a man, I just simply like the way men clothing looks and it’s modest to me because the clothing is loose on my body and I was wondering if wearing men’s clothing is haram because me and my friend were confused since we both like how men’s clothing looks so, I wanted to know is it haram for women to wear men’s clothing but without the intention of imitation of men?

The word مُوَلِّي appears in Quran verse 2:148. I have read a few translations of the verse (e.g. [here](http://corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=2&verse=148)) but I still don't have a good understanding of what the _word_ means. I looked it up on [المعاني](http://www.almaany.com) but it is not there. What is the meaning of the word? I am not looking for the translations of the verse, I know them. I am trying to understand the verse better by understanding the meaning and the usage of the word in Arabic.
