I am a Muslim but confused How can I believe that Allah loves his people 70 times more than a mother if an infant dies off cancer?

I heard in a bayan (sermon) that the married couples should not be fully naked (without any clothes) even during sex. This answer states that the ayats 23:5-6 reveals that the couples can be naked. Do these verses mean like that? Is it allowed in Islam to be naked during sex?

Salam I’m usually out during the day and have to use public toilets when I need to go. Most of the time however the toilets are dirty and I feel unclean after using them. Sometimes have to stand up which I know is wrong but the toilets are dirty people do their business all over the seat sometimes. What to do in this case? I know this will affect my salah it probably isn’t even valid but what’s the alternative if I have to rely on public toilets during the day ? Of course I can use the mosque toilets when I’m there but I mean in general when you’re out and have to rely on public toilets. I can’t shower before each salah because I’m out and I can’t take a change of clothes with me every time Please help

Sunni scholars have consensus that leader of Muslims leads prayers when he's present. I want to know stand of Shia regarding lead of prayers when Imam-e-Zamana (Imam Mahdi) is present.

I won’t say the why exactly but I was angry with Allah and some things going on in my life so I stopped praying and I started committing sins on purpose sometimes just to rebel. Will Allah forgive me?

During salah, I want to make it good but I fear ostentation because it’s minor shirk so everytime i pray my heart hurts because I’m afraid to do shirk. What if I do ostentation accidentally? Will I be judged for it? How do I know I committed it? My heart hurts a lot from fearing this, how can I make my reciting good and avoid ostentation then?

In Surah Al-Baqarah verse 98, Allah says: > Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His **angels** and His messengers and > **Gabriel and Michael** - then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the > disbelievers. Doesn't Gabriel and Michael fall under the category of angels? It seems they were distinguished here. Why so?

According to al-Isra` 17:70 there are some creations superior to humans. Is Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) even superior to those creations? Holy Quran says: > "We have honored the children of Adam, provided them with transport on land and sea, given them for sustenance things good and pure, and made them superior to a great number of Our creations.” (Qur’an; 17:70 )

Note: If it is necessary this post can be divided into two separate questions (I hope for some constructive comments). Basically what I want to know is: what are the conditions for a burial for the named cases ... or from what development stage or age of a fetus on is a burial necessary... And I do assume that the necessity of to bury a body imply the necessity of performing salat al-Janazah I just want to know whether my assumption is right. I hope for answers with evidences that cover an approved fiqh opinion on the matter.

In many verses of the Qur'an, Allah speaks positively about the Ahl-al-kitab (i.e., People of the Book). For example, Muslims can eat their food and marry their women under certain conditions. However, according to Quran 5:72-75 , people who believe in the Trinity are disbelievers; this includes mainstream Christians (Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants, etc.). This makes me think that Trinitarian Christians (i.e., those who believe in the Trinity) are not considered Ahl-al-kitab. This motivates my question: *Question*: Are Christians who believe in the Trinity considered People of the Book?

I noticed that "2 angels" and "3 angels" were mentioned in different sites. Specifically, Islami City writes: > Upon Lut’s prayer, Allah sent two angels in the form of men. Some of my Shia friends accuse Aisha (RA) of indecency by quoting the following hadith. > Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 5, Number 251: Narrated Abu Salmah: > > Aisha’s brother and I went to Aisha and he asked her about the bath of > the Prophet. Even though it seems that the men in question here are Mehram to Aisha. However the fact of her taking a bath in front of them still raises some eye brows. The hadith in question seems sahih. If it really is a sahih hadith then I have the following question. **Question**: Did Aisha (RA) do anything wrong by taking a bath behind a screen in the presence of two men?

I'm not trying to goad anyone, or start a fight, or pass judgment. I'm asking out of genuine curiosity. Please read accordingly. I seek to learn how Muslims choose their response to deliberate, gratuitous abuse of Islam, the Qur'an, Muhammad, Allah, the Prophets, or anything else relating to Islam. I assume that it is prescribed, by one or more doctrinal authorities. I did a **very** rough, informal search of some Islamic resources, I found many items in favor of a mild response, but only one in favor of a more vigorous response. I've listed all that at the end of the post, because someone will surely want to see it. My observations in online forums have been overwhelmingly biased toward the vigorous response. My observations of video footage of angry mobs of non-radical Muslims tend to provide reinforcement. I'm trying to find the religious motivations behind it, and get any other related knowledge that anyone can share. I've asked Muslims before why they're bothered about insult to Islam. Almost invariably, the response is along the lines of, "How would you feel if someone insulted your mother?" Beside not being an answer, that's an aspect of culture rather than religion. I'm hoping for something a bit more doctrinally rigorous. Genuine question, no judgment, just curiosity, please interpret as such. **Here are some items I found in support of a mild response.** Sura 3:186 - You will surely be tested in your possessions and in yourselves. And you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from those who associate others with Allah much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah - indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination. Sura 7:200 - If a provocation from Satan should provoke thee, seek refuge in God Sura 23:96-98 - Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer...And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee...and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord' Sura 41:34 - Not equal are the good deed and the evil deed. Repel with that which is fairer and behold, he between whom and thee there is enmity shall be as if he were a loyal friend. Anas reported: A Bedouin urinated in the mosque. Some of the persons stood up (to reprimand him or to check him from doing so), but the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: Leave him alone; don't interrupt him. He (the narrator) said: And when he had finished, he called for a bucket of water and poured it over. (Muslim hadith 557, Book of purification) **Here is the item I found in support of a vigorous response** Sura 9:12 - And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease. There was quite a lot of Tafsir commentary on this verse, but I didn't find any other Ayahs or Hadiths on the subject.

>وَيُنذِرَ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ وَلَدًا and warn those who say, "God has taken a son" - Surah Al-Kahf verse number 4 I am wondering if this verse came for Christians who believe that Jesus was the son of god, of course, it's for everyone that believes that but is it, especially for Christians?

I have, however, seen two very different translations for this *ayah*: > * Never think that the disbelievers **are causing failure [to Allah] upon the earth**... >(*Sahih International*) > * Consider not that the disbelievers **can escape in the land**... >(*M.M.Khan*) Of the major translations I checked, the first interpretation seems to additionally be held by Ali and Ghali, whereas the second interpretation is held by Pickthall and Shakir (as well as by [Tafsir Ibn Kathir](http://www.qtafsir.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2415&Itemid=79)) ; this fairly even split suggests that both are valid translations rather than either of them being a rogue interpretation. How strong, exactly, is each interpretation, and where does this difference stem from? Are either of these translations more "correct" (for lack of a better term)?
