Is watching people kiss on the lips haram
I was watching a movie alone when there was a kissing scene and instead of looking away I watched it. But other than my parents no one has said watching kissing is haram. So my question is, is watching kissing (kissing on lips) haram?

What if you feel like your not the person you are when you commit a sin meaning if I committing a sin I don't feel like it's me doing it but then after I realized it is me. I don't understand why it's like that because I never in my senses when I am committing a sin and I regret it right after and hate myself. But I always felt that its not me that is doing it, like I always feel like someone is controlling me and I cant stop them. After I always feel guilty for not stopping myself from committing a sin?

Is the Shia method of calculating zakat different from the Sunni method?
Is the Shia version of zakat different from the Sunni version? AFAIK, the Sunni version of the zakat is based on accumulated wealth every year. And apparently the Shia version of zakat is based on earnings per year? Is this true?

Am I sinning by doing this?
So. I think I forgot to turn off the auto-renewal for my playstation plus subscription, and I think it took money from my mother. I didn't do it on purpose (by leaving it on), if anything I don't really play on the playstation any more. If I don't tell her this happened, would I be sinning?

Who was the mother of Noah's drowned son?
Does the Quran give any information about who was the mother of Prophet Noah (PBUH)'s son who was drowned during the flood? G-d said that that son was not Prophet Noah's real son, if I am not interpretating the verse incorrectly. PS I forgot which verse in Quran it was. Sorry.

> "Or ˹are you not aware of˺ the one who passed by a city which was in ruins. He wondered, “How could Allah bring this back to life after its destruction?” So Allah caused him to die for a hundred years then brought him back to life. Allah asked, “How long have you remained ˹in this state˺?” He replied, “Perhaps a day or part of a day.” Allah said, “No! You have remained here for a hundred years! Just look at your food and drink—they have not spoiled. ˹But now˺ look at ˹the remains of˺ your donkey! And ˹so˺ We have made you into a sign for humanity. And look at the bones ˹of the donkey˺, how We bring them together then clothe them with flesh!”. When this was made clear to him, he declared, “˹Now˺ I know that Allah is Most Capable of everything.” (Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran")
According to islamic source, this story is attributed to Uzair. But I can not find the reason or proof around attributing the story to Uzair. Can someone give me some source reasoning the attribution of the story to Uzair?

Forgive me if this appears to be a dumb question but I am asking here anyway given how helpful everybody is here. Do you know of any surah/dua that will help me to marry sooner and the kind of man I want to be with? I am of marriageable age but making too little progress there. It feels like the toughest thing ever. Currently my household has become emotionally abusive so I am even more desperate to leave and start a new peaceful life. I beg my sisters and brothers on this platform, if you know any good and fruitful dua for a good and quick marriage, kindly share it with me.

Hi my father has been verbally, physically and finically abusive towards my mother and also sometimes his children. I am now 25 and have a daughter of my own and live abroad. The two times I have visited my parents Homs I have found that the old cycle of abuse has not been broken. He still creates issues on the dinning table because the food is never to his taste, or on any other matter he can find. It really exhausts me because I don’t want my daughter to see this since it gave me anxiety and depression when I was a child. He doesn’t pray regularly so Islamic things don’t make sense to him. When I ask my father to stop he says I am disrespectful, know nothing because I’m his daughter and younger than him and continues to verbally abuse me and even say get out of the house to me and my daughter. My husband is mot in the country right now so I don’t have any where to go. My heart hurts for my younger siblings and mother who have to tolerate this man. I have lost all respect and love for my father and want to cut out any ties with him (I only call him from abroad he never does by the way) however I am worried that I am not being a good daughter. What do I do. I don’t want my mother to suffer anymore

However I am sure that there are hadith where The Prophet ﷺ has confided in some of his spouses and some of his spouses have confided in him, about various issues including what is translated here as pain. I would be happy to be proven wrong however.
Is it understood that one can talk about your pains/sufferings/hardship to your spouse, while remaining patient, or are they not excluded?
I'm thinking often when my spouse asks how my day has been, I'll share the good and the bad, but I'm wondering if I should be more selective.

According to Shia Islam, does Allah communicate with Iblis in a human voice, and if so whose voice is it?
[Al Islam][1] writes that Allah spoke to the Prophet in voice of [Ali][2] during [Mi'raj][3]: > The Prophet replied, "**My Lord spoke to me with the voice of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib** and said, `O' Ahmad! Al Islam writes that Allah spoke to the Prophet in voice of Ali during Mi'raj :
> The Prophet replied, "**My Lord spoke to me with the voice of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib** and said, `O' Ahmad! I am an Entity that is not like anything else. I can not be compared to anything else and I know all the secrets of your heart. With the exception of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, you have no other close friend. Thus, I speak to you with the voice of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib so that your heart will be at ease."
This seems to imply that a Shia belief is that Allah communicates with Prophets using human voices. The Qur'an describes Allah communicating with Iblis , e.g.:
> [Allah] said, "What prevented you from prostrating when I commanded you?" [Satan] said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." -- Qur'an 7:12
This motivates the question:
