My father was a Unani Doctor. He passed away in July 2019. We are 2 brother and I am younger. My elder brother is 20 years older than me and practiced for some time with my father. Our clinic was on the ground floor of the house we lived. It's well known by my father's name/fame in the nearby cities. Patients recognised him. After his death, he took over the entire clinic and left me and my mother. Fortunately, half of the house where we lived was under my mother's name. As I was also in the same profession and completed my studies around the time of his death only, me and my mother started a new clinic in half of the house. Now there are 2 clinic's and both claim to be old place of my late father. Recently, my elder brother started keeping my father's image framed and hanged at several places within the clinic. This is affecting our business as patient's still come due to my father's name only and recognise the photo. Several people have advised to hang a photo in our clinic as well but we don't know if its right. Before my brother had started keeping my father's image, both of the clinic's were getting almost 50-50% of patients. Main Query: Is it ok for me to keep image of my deceased father hanged inside the clinic under the given circumstances as it has high impact on patients coming to my clinic?

It says the earth was created in two days. And later on in the next verse it says four days? Keep in mind the total duration of heavens and earth creation is six days. So did the earth take up 2 days out of 6 or 4 days? And you set up rivals (in worship) with Him? From my understanding it seems to be a somewhat modern notion that military jihad is only halal when it is in self-defense. I'm wondering if that narrative has any backing in pre-modern fiqh; while it's easy to find opinions that consider jihad for the purpose of conquest to be a communal obligation, I can't find anyone that says that this is haram in principle. Note that I'm not talking about scholars that say the ummah has to keep the peace treaties it enters into, as the caliph can decide whether or not to conclude such a treaty, making that optional and not a principled stance. I'm asking for legal opinions that conclude that war for purposes other than self-defense is haram in principle. **Question:** Which pre-modern scholars (say, before the 19th century CE), if any, considered jihad for purposes other than self-defense to be haram in principle?

Sahih Al-Bukhari 3508: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If somebody claims to be the son of any other than his real father knowingly, he but disbelieves in Allah, and if somebody claims to belong to some folk to whom he does not belong, let such a person take his place in the (Hell) Fire." I find the second part problematic: *"and if somebody claims to belong to some folk to whom he does not belong, let such a person take his place in the (Hell) Fire."* In the Qur'an Kerim, it states clearly: **"Indeed, We have dignified the children of Adam, carried them on land and sea, granted them good and lawful provisions, and privileged them far above many of Our creatures."** Qur'an Kerim 17:70 Further a hadith confirms this: *“Verily, **Allah has removed from you the pride of the time of ignorance, with its boasting of ancestors,** for one can only be a righteous believer or a miserable evildoer. All of the people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created from dust.”* - Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3955 (Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani.) According to this Qur'an Kerim Ayah and the Al-Tirmidhi hadith: You, me, all of us are Children of The Prophet Adam SAWS or 'Children of Adam' which means: I can clearly claim to be of any ethnicity: Arab, Chinese, Kurdish, Turkish, European, Malawi etc. because **we are all One Tribe.** And who knows except Allah SWT who was yours or mine ancestor millennia ago. Also, there is a reason that all of us, Muslims and all others are called Brothers and Sisters in Humanity for a reason. Most probably our ethnicities changed through ancestry and time. So, *"and if somebody claims to belong to some folk to whom he does not belong, let such a person take his place in the (Hell) Fire."* This part of that first hadith seems problematic since it clearly contradicts Qur'an Honourable in this aspect. And rejecting Qur'an Kerim is also an Act of Kufr. Since I'm kind of puzzled with this, could you resolve this question for me. Thanks and Selam,

if one skips the jumma regilarly (often or almost always), is it haram? Will Allah send them to hell or punish somehow? That is, what the consequences are? More specifically, is there any difference in the answer for a male / female: Is it acceptable for a man / woman to skip Jumma regularly, or just stop attending it? I ask because our university bureaucrats invented a new annoyance for the Muslim students (I am a professor in a non- Muslim country. Many of my students are Muslim): the university bureaucrats now insist on that all students must attend a "seminar", which is held every Friday, and usually in the afternoon or early evening, i.e., at the same time when my students typically are at the Mosque . This implies that attending jumma namaz becomes practically impossible. Thus the students are forced to make a choice: degree and scholarship vs. attending jumma. Such a choice between scholarship and jumma namaz sounds to me much as what in Christian tradition is called to sell one's soul to the devil.That is to explicitly renounce God. Here, the choice between scholarship and jumma sounds to me much like that: renouncing God I for money. Is it that bad sin/ haram , in the Islamic view? am lost as for what to advise my students to do. I cannot advise them haram, and I cannot advise them to drop out from the university.

I just downloaded the pdf of Najhul Balagha which a book regarding to the sermons of faithful Imam Ali(RA). I want to know is it a book for Shia sect. Not saying Imam Ali is only for Shia. Salaam everyone! I need some advice on a halal income situation. I work at a game studio where, unfortunately, they use pirated software. I’m just an employee and follow the tasks my employer gives me — I don’t own the company or choose the tools. Now, I’m planning to take an interest-free loan from this company (they’ll deduct it monthly from my salary) to build my own personal PC. On that PC, I plan to create my own independent games using only authentic and legally purchased tools— no piracy, no inappropriate content — fully clean.
