In 25:37 it is said that messengers were sent to the people of Nuh.
But from the name of the people (Nuh people) it follows that there was only one Nuh.
> And the people of Noah – when they denied the messengers, We drowned
> them, and We made them for mankind a sign. And We have prepared for
> the wrongdoers a painful punishment.25:37
Were many messengers sent to the people of Nuh, or was only Nuh sent? And if there were many messengers, why is the people called the Nuh people in the Quran?

Anyways, can i still talk to them even if they continue swearing and am i obliged to keep telling them to not do it every single time they do?

If a Muslim say that , it is not possible to bring four witness for Zina in this modern times as defined in Quran Surah Noor verse 13, this quranic requirement doesn’t have a ground and can’t be applied today. Does this mean that he denies / rejects the verse of Quran and its teaching ?
Can we categorize this person as rejecting a part of Quran that is revealed to Prophet Muhammad and say it as an act of kuffar?
Can I pray behind this person who say this Quran verses (24:13) is not possible for this time ?

I am a Graphics Designer. I want to design t-shirt and then upload it to some online marketplace, where I can sell it.
So, the problem is, I want to use Anime (Japanese Animation based on manga/comics) related stuff like logo, magical-sign (indeed it's fake, just for fantasy), sign, quotes.
I know, we can't use the picture, that's are prohibited. But, I am not using images tho. I want to use Anime kind of reference and sell it to those anime fans.
Anime is haram some point. It depends on what type of anime you're watching. There is good anime and bad anime too. I am not gonna drag those stuff. I just want to use some particular things that fans would like to buy.
Simply put: Its like I want to use the Marvel Avenger movie logo and quotes on t-shirts. And sell it to fans.
So, would it be a promotion of anime/movies, if I use those mentionable things? it would be haram?
Last thing I want to ask. Anime is non-living, non-existing characters. I heard that, if we create drawings of living creatures, then it would be haram. But anime is non-existing. So, it would be permissible to use them on T-shirts. Even it would be troublesome while praying with those shirts. By the way, these shirts are not for me, I just want to sell them to a particular country like the USA.
Please, let me know the answer. This kind of thing bothers me too much. I am getting confused between haram and halal.

What are the Islamic tenets regarding cemeteries?

I am visiting a village in a Muslim nation. There is a mosque here. Right next to the mosque is a cemetery with many graves, some very old and some relatively new. The cemetery is unmaintained, it seems. The grass is high, graves are crumbling over, and things are generally in bad condition. Given that it's right next to a mosque I was surprised to see this, as I assumed (apparently incorrectly?) that it would be the duty of the mosque to maintain it.
Hence the question in the title: what should be done (according to Islam) about this cemetery, especially considering that it's right next to (adjoined to) a mosque>

Before answering let me just lay out my thoughts so it’s easy for you to understand where I got this from. Also I’m not here to make fun of or insult people or anything.
First and foremost, God knows everything and everything has been predestined our futures are set that’s that.
Secondly, and this is mainly just my interpretation, people who are in dire need of something tend to look towards God. There have been psychological studies to back the belief that people who are punished/suffer think there will be merit/rewards from going through said trials and this ties into religion too. If you look at the countries in the worst states where they need food, shelter etc they turn to God and have hope however as countries have progressed and advanced there is no longer this need and people have become self sufficient so there is no need to turn to God. It’s safe to assume over a period of time that if these countries were given such a privilege the same outcome would occur and of course with a few exceptions. As time is passing on the decline in faith is rising too and understandably, a lot of religious statements seem mythical and legendary at best and obviously this would lead to disbelief countries who now have the power and technology to interpret this and understand it, look into the universe and philosophy of it have seen a decline in faith.
If assuming God exists God will also know that this was bound to happen, people were bound to disbelieve and it’s a reasonable thing to do. As religious as you are it’s hard to deny that this is reasonable when looking at them they seem like straight out a fairy tale and the existence of God is rooted down to a being beyond time, space, has no physical being etc etc which is the same as something non-existent.
God knew this will happen so why create a fate for certain humans that has set them to eternal suffering for something such as this? How is that just? It would’ve been better if they didn’t exist. What’s the point?

Is it ok for me to read 1 ruku everyday or is that not sufficient?
I used to read quran often, at least 3 ruku a day and tried memorising new surahs and preserving these memorisations.
But ever since I was afflicted with OCD and wiswas I have abandoned the quran and I barely read it. I just feel too lazy and demotivated to read it. My wiswas is to do with najasah and doubts about missing the pillars of acts of worship
I feel like coming back to the quran by reciting at least 1 ruku a day and then gradually increase the recitation of the quran.

I'm not sure how reliable this source is, but this idea that it's forbidden seems to be repeated throughout the ShiaChat. In this question, I want to confirm if Shia Islam indeed prohibits saying "Ameen", a claim also made here .
**Question**: Does Shia Islam prohibit saying "Ameen" after reciting al Fatiha?

> Quraish amongst Kinana and he granted eminence to the Quraish amongst
> Banu Hashim and he granted me eminences from the tribe of Banu
> Hashim." (Sahih Muslim 30:5653)
This hadith to me, seems to contradict with
> "Abu Malik al-Ash’ari reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon
> him) as saying: Among my people there are four characteristics
> belonging to pre-Islamic period which they do not abandon: boasting of
> high rank, reviling other peoples’ genealogies, seeking rain by stars,

> repent before she dies, she will be made to stand on the Day of
> Resurrection wearing a garment of pitch and a chemise of mange."
> (Sahih Muslim 4:2033)
In the first hadith, he seems to be saying that the Quraish are of a higher rank than other tribes, but in the second hadith, he warns against boasting of high rank. Can anybody resolve the apparent contradiction?

The pre-Islamic Arabs had 354 days in their calendar rather than the 365 days of the solar calendar. To make up this difference, leap months were added once every three years. But this practice was discontinued in the year 629, and the Qur'an even forbids adding leap months (Qur'an 9:36-37).
Biographers like Ibn Ishaq record the month in which the events of Muhammad's life took place. Yet, Muhammad is never recorded doing anything on a leap month. Why is this?

“Amongst the Banī Isrā’īl (Children of Isrā’il) there was a believer whose neighbour was an unbeliever. That unbeliever would always show kindness and good conduct towards his believing neighbour. When this unbeliever died, God made for him a house out of a type of mud which shielded him from the heat of the fire, and his sustenance would be given to him from outside his own environment, which was of fire. He was told, ‘This is because of your kindness and good conduct towards your believing neighbour.’”
