Is there a contradiction between Qur'an and reality about favor? surah 5:3

**My problem at understanding is about the completion of favor on believers.**
If the favor of ALLAH is completed on believers how can believers now have good things? are those not favor of ALLAH? why?
Like how can new believers get new good things if favor of ALLAH on believers was completed long ago?
Emphasis mine and I made the part that I want to be answered as bold:
> 5:3 Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allāh, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion **and completed My favor upon you** and have approved for you Islām as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

is it a sin to abandon my dad completely
My dad has been physically and verbally abusive to my family my whole life, especially to my mom. He pretends to be nice at times but does it again and he always talks about how much he hates us. My dad has been physically and verbally abusive to my family my whole life, especially to my mom. He pretends to be nice at times but does it again and he always talks about how much he hates us. There’s no way to talk to him and make him a better person he’s evil. I hate him also and I plan to abandon him completely soon, and I try to convince my mom and siblings to come with me. Would it be a sin? Even if it is I still will but I just want to know.

Does [2:191-193] support forceful conversion to Islam?
It seems like forceful conversion and I do not understand why it shouldn't: >[2:191] وَٱقْتُلُوهُمْ حَيْثُ ثَقِفْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَخْرِجُوهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ ۚ وَٱلْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ ٱلْقَتْلِ ۚ وَلَا تُقَـٰتِلُوهُمْ عِندَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ حَتَّىٰ يُقَـٰتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ ۖ فَإِن قَـٰت...

Again the word with the root ظ ل م is used. And there is a verse saying those who sin do injustice to themselves. Disbelief is a sin and therefore injustice. So does this actually mean it's supporting forceful conversion? even reading Tafsir Ibn Kathir, I did not find an alternative interpretation.

I know if you're wearing leather socks, you can wipe over them, as masah... can the same be applied to leather shoes, with cotton socks underneath?. Please note I would do a full ghusl/shower in the morning before putting the socks/shoes on.
JazakAllah.

Do verses 32:5 and 22:47 contradict 70:4?

There are multiple interpretations of يوم, one is that it means "world" in 70:4, and is recorded in Ibn Kathir's tafsir. But my main problem is the meaning of "you count" (تعدّون). A more correct translation following grammar rules of Arabic is that it means "you cause to be counted", but I want to know what it means in the context of the rest of 32:5 and 22:47 in Arabic
> 32:5
He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count.
— Saheeh International
However ٱلأَمْرَ can mean "command" and يَعْرُجُ can mean "[it] will return", and a working meaning can be interpreted with these meanings
> 22:47
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allāh will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.
— Saheeh International
> 70:4
The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] will ascend to Him during a Day the extent of which is fifty thousand years.
— Saheeh International
There is a narration in Baghawi's tafsir that the day of Judgment is 50,000 years on disbelievers.
So keeping all these in mind what is an interpretation consistent with the narration and verses?
How can days be in fact 1000 years but different for some people. Can this one also be explained? my explanation is that one day is one day for us and is in fact 1000 years, because ALLAH knows everything including that a human day is actually 1000 years, but it's 1 day for humans, and a similar explanation can be made for the 50,000 years one. But does this explanation work?

Why does 2:74 use "or"?
I first found this verse while reading the context of a verse. I do not know if it's a feature of the Arabic language.

Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones **or** even harder. For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of Allāh. And Allāh is not unaware of what you do.
— Saheeh International
The word used is أَوْ which does mean "or". Why does it use **or** about "like stones **or** harder" even though ALLAH is all knowing, thus meaning that HE doesn't doubt about what is actually true?
how is this explained?

Salaam alaikum!
**Background:**
My whole life is falling apart, long story short I reverted to islam about 4 years ago.
About 3 years ago I met my husband, we moved into my husband's auntie's house, however we are being forced to move into downstairs rooms (not sure permenantly) The room is disgusting (mold, cracks on the wall, peeling wallpaper) and freezing cold due to there being patio doors that aren't sealed properly.
There is major renovation going on in that house meaning we and our two cats have nowhere to stay.
Alhamdulliah that my husband's family are letting us crash at there house but they can't keep our cats as they have a cat breeding business.
My non Muslim parents have kept them for 3 days and now are asking us to take them back, nothing can persuade them. No one we know will take them. So now I have to keep them in my house In the kitchen with building work going on.
So now everyday I'm going to have to walk 2 miles from my in-laws house to my house, to feed them, play with the and cuddle them. It will be difficult as I'm not mentally too well.
**Question:**
I am really suffering and I'm in need of Islamic motivation.
I'd like to know is there any reward for my efforts in looking after my cats? Perhaps if there was I'd feel better and be more motivated to do it.

Please tell me if it counts and can a child do sins until the time of puberty is finished or until puberty starts? I am familiar with references such as:
>Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and to be mindful of their chastity: this will be most conducive to their purity – (and,) verily, Allah is aware of all that they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and to be mindful of their chastity, and not to display their charms beyond what may be apparent thereof; hence let them draw their veils over their bosoms and do not show their adornments except to their husbands or their fathers or their husbands' fathers or their sons or their husbands' sons or their brothers or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons or their women or what their right hands possess or male servants free of sexual desires or those children who never knows the private things of women; and do not stamp their feet so that it may show their hidden adornments; and repent towards God collectively O believers so that you may succeed.
>
>— [Qur'an: Sura 24 (An-Nur): ayat 30-31]
However there is no direct reference to gender segregation. In fact the passage suggests that men and women do meet from time to time and should lower their gaze and be modest.

The four fundamental sources of the osol al-fiqh I heard are
- Qur'an
- Sunnah
- consensus of Muslim jurists (ijma),
- qiyas (analogical reasoning)
**a) Do all four of these sources, have equal authority, or one prevails over the other?**
For example:
1. Qur'an
2. Sunnah
3. consensus of Muslim jurists (ijma)
4. qiyas (analogical reasoning)
**b) Do most of the scholar accept these four Sources?**
For example:
Ibn Taymiyyah opposed the use of consensus of jurists, replacing it with the consensus of the sahaba.
---
Reason of question:
I see some question on this site, regarding the scholar view even though there is clear Quran/Hadith indication, so are the scholar views at par with Quran/Sunnah.

It says something like "say mock [as you wish]." in part of it in Sahih International translation
We should not assist in sinning
We should command good and forbid evil
So how do we tell munafiqs "mock [us/Islam/Muslims]? mocking is a sin and not a good act.
How is it explained?
And do not say it is abrogated JUST BECAUSE it seems to contradict other verses. This is not a convincing method if used without evidence (hadith evidence).

Will my income be hallal if I get a job in software field by showing portfolio projects that I have developed by following the tutorials from internet. The hiring process does not consist of only showing portfolio there is an interview. And if I do get the job I will be getting paid for the work I am doing. I don’t know the expectation of person hiring from portfolio if it is that I developed all my projects all myself without any tutorials from internet or just to know my skills.
Similarly, if I make portfolio projects that implement the functionality of existing website. For example making a youtube or twitter clone without taking content from original website to demonstrate my skills. Will that have same problems as stated above or is that allowed. Websites have copyright issues sometimes but I will not take the images or other content from websites I am making a clone of and it is not an actual competitor or any thing just a demo project.
clarifications:
In software field people take help from other peoples code.so lets say i am developing a feature that is new for me and i will search for blog posts or youtube videos like how to implement xyz in so and so language etc and then implement the blog post or youtube solution into my project.People think this is fine as you are modifying the original and the help taken is just the part of your project not the whole project and the person posting the solution intends to share it with others. so i was confused about this practice.
Secondly, newcomers make projects like youtube clone, twitter clone etc i.e. write code to make a youtube like website for portfolio project. Now if you don't use the content from youtube or twitter are you fine or not. The companies most likely don't care about such student projects but copyright laws are complex so could that impact my income if make such a project.
