Is paying interest allowed in Islam? How would Muslim navigate western finances, where basically everything has interest?
So I know that being the receiver of interest payments is not allowed in Islam. That said, is paying interest allowed? For example, would a Muslim be able to buy a home with a loan that charges interest, or would they have to wait until they could pay the full value?

Surah Al-A'raf verse 7:179 - Are we not among those who refuse to understand?
As we might already know, very few muslims today learn Quran by it's meaning. Many of us only learn to recite it. As we might already know, very few muslims today learn Quran by it's meaning. Many of us only learn to recite it. When asked, very few of them could answer that they knew the meaning of the verses they read. It makes me wonder. Do we actually misunderstood the word اِقْرَأْ (read) since a while?. It reminds me of the verse 2:170 from Al-Baqarah that kind of scolding us for following our forefathers even they knew nothing. There area two types of reading. First, you recite the words even you don't understand it. Second, you may not read it loud but you examine and understand it in your heart. So I come to the question, which type of reading the word اِقْرَأْ actually means. Is it both?. The more I read and try to understand the Quran, the more I realize that it doesn't talk about recitation or reading out loud by lips. It's about understanding it as the message from Allah. Surah Al-A'raf verse 7:179. > *Indeed, We have created for Jahannam many jinn and humans. They have hearts they do not understand with, eyes they do not see with, and ears they do not hear with. They are like cattle. In fact they are even less guided! Such people are entirely heedless.* The verse talks about using our eyes, ears, and heart, to read, hear, and understand Allah's words, which mentioned in previous verses. So my question is, are we not among those who refuse to read, hear, and understand Allah's words, choose to become more lost than a cattle, choose to become heedless, and choose to go to Jahannam?. If we are, that's terrifying and I don't want to become one.

As we all know that Allah intervenes in whatever we do, He is looking at us and nothing can happen without His will. In that case, does Allah own the events like children dying in a bomb as well? And if He does, then isn't it that He does nothing and just watches other people in pain? When we say that Allah loves you more than mother etc. A mother would never watch her children dying in this way. Then there are people who say that Allah wants you to do something about it etc. My question becomes humans have limitations. I cannot go to Syria into a war zone even if I wanted to, but Allah can do anything! Then why is He silent and letting it happen. And please I want a good answer, not something like "God works in mysterious ways and we can't know anything for sure" or "This place is a test not real etc." the pain that these children and their families face are REAL. Period. So, kindly let me know your answers on this.

Surah Al-Baqarah verse 2:170 - Are we not among those who follow their forefathers?

When we ask people who we call them as kafeer to follow Allah's revelation, Allah says that they will answer like in surah Al-Baqarah verse 2:170. > *When it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they reply, “No! We only follow what we found our forefathers practicing.” Would they still do so, even if their forefathers had absolutely no understanding or guidance?.* Honestly I have some non-muslims friends and in my experiences they never answered me like that. They just said that they're not convinced. Nothing else. Just like us, they also believe that they follow the true religion, not just their forefathers'. But at the same time very often I heard muslims especially sheikhs say something like this. > We must be grateful to be born in Islam. Something weird here. How can we be grateful to be born with the religion of our ancestors while at the same time the verse itself says that we need to follow Allah not our ancestors since they know nothing. Let's talk statistics. Out of all growth of any fastest growing religion today, only 0.6% come from conversion. The rest is from higher fertility rates. That means 99.4% of someone's religion was inherited from their parents not because they learn the truth. So how to prove that we're not among those who inherit their faith from their forefathers like said in the verse above?.

Please don’t be offended by this question. I'm just wondering about it and if you could answer this - it would be better. My question is "was the prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) literally chosen by Allah (in fact that was) or only He (peace be upon him) attain this highest honour by his actions and characteristics, as Allah "azzawajal said many times in the Holy Quran about the prophet that (paraphrase) 'in this way He "azzawajal made him(the prophet) able to convey His message to the nation he sent to? I mean what was exactly the reasons behind choosing particularly this man (Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him) apart from the whole uncountable creation of Allah "azzawajal? Thanks in advance.

In the two last verses of surah Al-Fatihah, verse 1:6 and 1:7, it says, > *"Guide us along the straight path, the path of those You've bestowed your favors onto them, not those You're furious with, and those who > are astray".* The verse specifically described about people whom Allah gave His favors (like sustenances, wealth, health, etc.) as in past tense, which means the favors was already given to them and today we ask the same favors from Him. I think if the verses talking about the path to get the favors (rewards) those not yet given, the verse 7 would have used the word guidance instead. Am I correct to say that the verses are actually and specifically talking about the favors people in the past used to get in this world during their lifetime from Allah?.
