I have found an article in https://amp.theguardian.com/education/2000/aug/08/highereducation.theguardian , It says,
> Dr Gerd R Puin, a renowned Islamicist at Saarland University, Germany, says it is not one single work that has survived unchanged through the centuries. It may include stories that were written before the prophet Mohammed began his ministry and which have subsequently been rewritten
It also says nonsense like thet the Quran has been changed,
> As years went by, the correct reading of the Koran became less clear, he says. People made changes to make sense of the text.
Puin gives as example Hajjaj bin Yusuf, governor of Iraq from 694-714 AD, who
> was proud of inserting more than 1,000 alifs [first letter of the Arabic alphabet] in the Koranic text.
Did he really examine Sana'a Quran? He even said
> There are dialectal and phonetical variations that don't make any sense in the text
Can anyone tell me if Gerd R Puin has any authority in quranic study and regarding Sana'a Quran?
As I know, the difference between the Sana'a Quran and the current editions doesn't affect it's meaning but this article is making me doubt. Also about alif, is this a vowel sign that was added later in quran by hajjaj?

Prophet Dawud's (AS) fasting is termed as Alternate Day fasting. I've been following daily fasts but now switching to Alternate Day Fasting Protocol since Muhammad SAW called it the best way (Reference ).
The first day is clear, it's the second day which is confusing.
Day 1 - Fast for 24 hours (No food, no water, clear)
**Day 2 Questions**
**Water**: I assume I can drink water throughout the day.
**Frequency**: Eat 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) or one meal a day (aka **OMAD**)
If Frequency is OMAD then options are
Option A) Eat at the 01th hour
Option B) Eat at sunset
Option C) Eat at 23rd hour
**I'm looking for the Precise Protocol followed by Prophet Dawud AS.**

Matched betting is actually not gambling. U Matched betting (also known as back or lay bet matching, arb betting, or double betting) is a betting technique used by individuals to profit from the free bets and incentives offered by bookmakers. It is generally considered a risk-free bet as it is based on the application of a mathematical equation rather than chance. A typical return for a matched bet where the stake is returned is 85%+ of the free bet offer amount, and 70%+ where the stake is not returned. So for example, if you see an advert for a bookmaker and they are giving away a £10 free bet - on average, using the techniques and with the help of software, video guides you will be able to 'unlock' £7 of that free bet as profit. That's real money that you can withdraw and spend on whatever you like.
Its a risk free and not gambling. Is that haram in islam??

Assalamualaikum,
I hope you and your family are doing well. I wanted to speak to you about a scenario that I have been going through. I took a maintenance loan which is a loan given to University students. I know this loan is haram but I still took it, may Allah forgive me. I have repented and I am still repenting. My question is the items that I bought with this money are they haram for me to use? For example, let's say if I bought a laptop would It be haram for me to start an online business with that laptop and earn through it? Would it be haram for me to use that laptop for general purposes. I have also made the intention that Inshallah when I do earn enough money I will ty to InshAllah give the same amount I received from this loan to Islamic causes for example charity or to someone who is poor without the intention of getting any good deed out of it.

I have previously asked a question that a Christian asked to me but he is bothering me again,I think he is trying to convince me to leave Islam. But before I block him I think I need to find the answer that he raised,he quoted this"The accounts of non-Muslim conquered peoples also conflict with the accounts of traditional Islamic literature. Examining 7th century Byzantine Christian sources commentary on the Arab "immigrants" (Mhaggraye) who were invading and settling in formerly Byzantine territory at that time, historian Abdul-Massih Saadi found the Christians never mentioned the terms "Quran" nor "Islam" nor that the immigrants were of a new religion.[Note 2] They referred to the immigrants in ethnic terms -- "among them (Arabs) there are many Christians...". The Christians used secular or political, not religious terms (kings, princes, rulers) to refer to the Arab leaders. Muhammad was "the first king of the Mhaggraye", also guide, teacher, leader or great ruler. They did however mention the religion of the Arabs. The immigrants' religion was described as monotheist "in accordance with the Old Law (Old Testament)". When the Emir of the immigrants and Patriarch of the local Christians did have a religious colloquium there was much discussion of the scriptures but no mention of the Quran, "a possible indication that the Quran was not yet in circulation." The Christians reported the Emir was accompanied by "learned Jews", that the immigrants "accepted the Torah just as the Jews and Samaritans", though none of the sources described the immigrants as Jews."Can anyone tell me about the quotation? Is there any possible misunderstanding here?

i woke up for fajr one day, and i didn't feel any wetness or anything that i remember, although when later i was about to make wudu to pray, i noticed a spot on my pants. it examined it and it didn't smell, feel, or look much like i had a wet dream, and it even dried COMPLETLEY after about 10 minutes, which means that it must not be a wet dream.
what i think happened was that i was drinking water and i dropped some on my pants, although im not sure.
i am just a very forgetful person and dont concentrate or remember things well, so im not sure what to do. i know that there is no logical way that it could have had a wet dream, and i probably dropped water or something else happened, but i am still getting waswasah.
please help me i am confused.

It seems to me that a pious male teenager or adult should be satisfied and patient with the feeling he gets from nocturnal emissions (wet dreams) which are normal and not sinful. If he wants this sexual pleasure more frequently then he should marry. I'm not sure what's the average per month of a wet dream for a normal teenager. It becomes more of a problem if he finds out about masturbation and then starts doing that which is sinful and he can then get that feeling many times in the day rather than say every 2 weeks via a wet dream.
How does fasting reduce sexual passion if he doesn't masturbate or know what it is and doesn't look at females in whatever form in the first place as he knows these are sinful?

Why does [Sahih al-Bukhari 304](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:304) says that women are less religious and intelligent than men?
Narrated by Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
> Once Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) of `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by the women and said, "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women)." They asked, "Why is it so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ?" He replied, "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?" He said, "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" They replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?" The women replied in the affirmative. He said, "This is the deficiency in her religion."

I recently learnt (from sources like ustad Zaid Patel's course in Hindi/Urdu and Sheikh Bilal in English ) that if a person's income is haram or includes haram, it becomes halal for the other person who exchanges it for an economic activity like selling him something and taking his money in return. In short, haram money becomes halal with the change of hands.
And I also learnt that this doesn't work while gifting someone, haram money won't become halal upon gift transfer.
My question is about the transfer when money/properties are transferred during wirasat/heirship from a person to his various family members. Does this kind of transfer convert haram into halal?

so i want to ask something, i know that drawing inanimate objects are strictly forbidden, but i also see some controversy between the scholar about this issue, wether it's allowed with some term and condition. now what I'm curious about is, what about animation with inanimate objects, that teaches about Islam, like cartoon or just comic characters, for example there's one famous islamic cartoon called omar and hana, i haven't watched it but from the looks of it, it's seems like cartoon that teaches kids, or adult that might just come to Islam about our religion. what's the ruling about those things? thank you

Binance clearly mentioned in their docs that they charge a funding fee on each future trade which consists of a fixed interest rate of 0.03% plus premium. So is this interest rate the interest which is forbidden in Islam? or is it the trading fee of Binance?

> The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "**None of you should flog his wife as he flogs a slave** and then have sexual intercourse with her in the last part of the day."
A narration in Sunan Abu Da’ood
> I (the narrator Laqit) then said: Messenger of Allah, I have a wife who has something (wrong) in her tongue, i.e. she is insolent. He said: Then divorce her. I said: Messenger of Allah, she had company with me and I have children from her. He said: Then ask her (to obey you). If there is something good in her, she will do so (obey); **and do not beat your wife as you beat your slave-girl**

Asalam alaykum brothers and sisters
I recently did ghusl but I am having doubts of whether I reached every part of my body with water. I am almost certain that water reached every part of my body but I am unsure whether I scrubbed every part perfectly.
Also, since the hands can not reach all parts of the back, what should one do in this situation? I tried my best to get water back there and am pretty sure I covered it but I am still asking.

I have Helped my friend in one of his graded assignments and he paid me. Now I offered him to teach him that topic for free, and he learns too.
Now here the student have learnt the topic and is capable to does the task in the future. The grading is also done in an absolute system unlike relative system (On curves) so no body is harmed. Plus if his degree states that he is capable to doing that task, then that's also true.
In this case no body is hurt. I'm I allowed to keep the cash?
