Asalam alaykum everyone. My question is that I am always having doubts and waswash about everything, let me explain. I feel like shaitan has alot of power over me since I am always getting bad thoughts and shaitan is always trying to make me do bad things like look at wrong things and break promises that I've made to people and to Allah. and i am just always getting thoughts in mind that I am doing everything wrong and that I will never be forgiven and that I have no hope left. I always feel sad because of this and I feel like I need a way to be stronger against shaitan. Please help me.

Is attending weddings permitted for unmarried couples who are courting?
As I understand it, when a young man and woman are in the process of courtship prior to marriage, he is allowed to "view" her and I presume meet under various circumstances. Would that include attending a wedding together, or would attending a wedding be considered inappropriate?

Why is the Hafs reading of the Qur'an so prevalent?
Of everything I've read, the Hafs-an-Asim reading of the Qur'an is used by the vast majority of Muslims (it's definitely the only I've ever seen or heard used in my area). Of everything I've read, the Hafs-an-Asim reading of the Qur'an is used by the vast majority of Muslims (it's definitely the only I've ever seen or heard used in my area). I've even seen articles claiming that this is the case for up to 95% of the Muslim world, with the Warsh-an-Nafi reading holding second place with a whopping 3%. However, it is also my understanding that all seven major *qira'at* are considered co-valid, and are all considered perfectly valid methods of reading the Qur'an. Why, then, did the Hafs reading gain such predominance? Is it somehow more "correct" than the others? Was it promulgated (and the others restricted) via political decree? Is there actually no rational explanation, and it's just...one of those things?

The most popular Qirat, the de facto Qur'an almost anywhere and especially online is the Hafs < Asim transmission. In some parts of Africa they use the Warsh < Nafi' Qur'an. Currently I am trying to obtain the most "authentic" Warsh Qira'at, _I think_ that would mean finding the manuscripts used today to produce Warsh Qur'ans What are they, where are they and are there online scans? thanks

But what I'd like to know is: When and where scholars or clerics introduced or accepted them as a utility for declaring or calculating important dates like 1st day of Ramadan? Any details on this historical inauguration would be fine! I think of information like: how was the general acceptance at the time, who was the cleric, who was the person or scientists whom's caclulation methods or calendar was accepted ...

Adaab. I don't know much about different sub sects and diversities of Islamic culture but it looks like the Sufi tradition is quite different. They worship on shrine, practices meditation, uses musical instrument and have monk-like Darvishes who participate in religious dance. This differs from many other sects of Islam. Now, how does Islam (The Quran and Hadiths?) sees them? Is sufiism considered to be Islam ? (As I have read that Islam is very strict about whether every commandment is obeyed ) Is sufiism totally goes with Islamic religion? or it is seen as a different religion? Update on comment: I am looking for **all** major perspectives. This includes perspectives from Sufis themselves, Sociologists and other.

Does a Muslim woman with urinary incontinence need to change her pad before each prayer?
There's various online fatawa around which describe the effect of urinary incontinence on salah prayer (e.g. IslamWeb [1][1], [2][2]; [SeekersHub][3]; [Zamzam Academy][4]; MuftiOnline [1][5], [2][6], [3][7]; Islam Q&A [1][8], [2][9], [3][10]). They usually state that ablution (wudu) is required before each salah, and should be performed after the time for prayer has started. However, they don't seem to address this question: **Question**: Does a Muslim woman with urinary incontinence need to change her pad before each prayer? A woman with urinary incontinence may absorb the urine using some kind of pad , which will be kept against her skin. (Maybe men with urinary incontinence do the same, I'm not sure.) However, the pad may or may not be enough to keep the impurities away in order to perform prayer. Obviously, there's a level of impracticality to changing a pad this many times per day.

'Azib were among them. https://sunnah.com/abudawud:4039 Abu Dawud says that 20 of the sahaba were known to wear khazz implying this hadith is not definitive as a source of law, however Albani says it is sahih, so can anyone fill me in on the authenticity of the hadith and its isnad.

This hadith book currently bears the crown of being the "earliest extant hadith book" so its important to verify if what we have today it is actually authentically traced to Imam Ibn Munabbih. In general, I think verifying the authentic transmission of a document is done by two: 1.) Analysing all of the current manuscripts and their chains of transmission 2.) Analysing other documents that mention the document of interest. (i think Imam Ibn Abi Shaybah mentioned the sahifah hammam. I read that somewhere) beyond that, I am not sure what else we can even do. To that end, what are the current manuscripts of the Sahifah Hammam we have available to us today? (and where are they and mention their chains of transmissions etc please)
