When someone dies, if they are destined for hell, do they stay there for all eternity, or will they eventually be freed from hell? If they will eventually be freed, what happens then? Furthermore, do all people stay there for the same amount of time? How long?

Is غسل ارتماسي ghusl irtimasi for major impurity mustahabb مُسْتَحَبّ?

So I wondering… I’ve found one similar question like this on this site and already read the answers that showed up but I don’t quite really satisfied yet. (I’m not quite sure if it’s okay to just put some usernames so I wouldn’t. I hope this will be okay too, hope you get what I mean). So, I have this question from watched one of Video of Zakir Naik on youtube. Surah Al Ahzaab : 72 : “Truly, we did offer the Amanah to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it. But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust and ignorant.” I get this from : http://www.quran4u.com/tafsir%20ibn%20kathir/033%20Ahzab.htm So the problem is, I can’t see the relation between the question and the _verse_ (is that right word to say this?) because of the question is more like **ask to: do you want to be human or else** and what written in that verse is **word: man** and this making me assume that we are all already being human when we asked. And word **Amanah**, isn't this just make this verse more likely, **offer the Amanah to human** not **asking do you want to be human or just pass?** So, am I misinterpreting this? Or am I missed something so that’s why now I'm asking this to get more suitable answer? Is there any more verse or hadith or something that has more clear explanation? I hope I explained this right so everyone gets what I mean. Thank you.

My understanding is, Cause of Allah is not the same as Sake of Allah (Ikhlas). So how, "walking to the Friday prayer" or "fasts" -- is in the Cause of Allah (فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ).

It is said that in jannah one shall get whatever he want and in Jannah all wishes will be fulfilled as mentioned in the Quran , however in this world we have some desires that are not appropriate and are harmful , I have read people saying that in Jannah we will not make these wishes as our minds will be purified , but my Question is that , do these harmful things have to be the same in Jannah ?, I don't think so ... I mean they can turn harmless and good in Jannah thus not being considered bad anymore (but the experience can be same or better), since Allah can do anything he can turn the possible harmful things into appropriate and harmless , one mentioned is the wine that is turned good and appropriate in Jannah for believers to experience it,... can this transformation from bad to good not happen to all other possible bad things , (only things that are possible to be turn good). so that one can experience these in heaven . I think it does not make complete sense that "our minds will be purified so we won't make all these Bad desires " I think this can only be said to some specific evil things that have no chance to be turned good and pure in Jannah . for example if one loves boxing in this world and it is harmful in this world , but in jannah can he not make the wish for boxing , and experience it in a permissible harmless form , may be something like a video game(just an example) or any other way , (since Allah can do anything) ,

Assalamu alaikum, My wife and I have been trying for children for several years with no success. We have undertaken many tests that could not determine a biological issue with our health. We have gone through two IVF cycles unsuccessfully. Our consultant has asked that I should not refrain from ejaculation for more than 36-48 hours until the next IVF cycle is complete. However my wife will be traveling with her family for a few days during this time. I don't know how best to address this. I know the majority of opinion is that masturbation is haram, unless for medical purposes. But considering I am married and have a halal alternative (albeit not while she is travelling) I don't know where I stand with rulings. Please can you refer me to some knowledge so that I act, by Allah's will, in accordance with shariah.

I have been married for 7 years, and I work on my own, while my wife takes care of our child. Every time I get my salary, I always give 100% of it to my wife. When I get a freelance project, I also always give the earnings to my wife. However, I have debts that may exceed my salary, and my wife tells me that I am stingy and irresponsible as a husband. When I really have nothing, I ask my mother for money and give it to her. Almost every day, I ask my mother for household expenses. If my mother can't provide, I am seen as unable to make an effort. Am I really not providing financially in a case like this?

Salam I have seen a few videos on YouTube which say this is allowed in voluntary prayers such tahhajud etc.. I want to know if anyone else has done this and when going into sujood how does one hold the mushaf or phone if reading from app? Do we still have to have right hand over left if holding mushaf/phone if reciting like this? Can this be done in sunnah prayers too? I want to do this to make my salah longer as I don't know know a lot of surahs from memory.

Asalam alaykum everyone I am suffering from brain fog, and so I am very forgetful and it is very hard for me to concentrate. So when I pray salat, I am always forgetting. For example, whether I recited surah fatiah completely, how many rakahs I prayed. This is why I am constantly repeating each salat twice or more and that is very difficult for me. Is there anything I could do to help fix my situation? I think it is probably waswasah, but I do not feel strong enough to fight the waswasahs.

Someone has a debt to pay but instead of paying it, he/she decided to go for Hajj/Umrah. Is it allowed to perform Hajj or Umrah while having debt? Or is it that only after clearing the debt he/she is allowed to perform Hajj/Umrah.

However, it is better that he first complete that prayer and then repeat it." Now after reading it I have a question that if I doubt that whether I laughed in salah or not or some other doubt like that so it is must for me to pray again? I'm aware that a man is obligated to provide for his wife and children, but if the man is in the hospital or incapacitated, will the wife be obligated to provide for her kids in the least? I understand community support or zakat funds are supposed to be exhausted first before going to the wife, but isn't the wife 'obligated' to take care of her children even if financially in absence of other means if she's able to e.g has savings, wealth, etc? I'm specifically Keen to understand about the obligation part, not good-will or optional act.

I would like to know if I can use the term messiah in regards to a savior or a heroic person. An example is me writing a book about this savior who comes and saves this nation and their football club and wins them the world cup or someone who saves his people from villains. I know the term messiah means anointed one referring to isa PBUH. But they English dictionary has multiple terms for the meaning of messiah and in Islam it's about your intentions.
