How to defend Aisha's marriage age?
If we take the usual view that she married at 6 and then later consummated at 9 after her menses and the Prophet (saw) was in his early 50s we can challenge the non Muslim critic by saying why do we not have a single report from the enemies questioning her "young" age and his "older" age? If we take the usual view that she married at 6 and then later consummated at 9 after her menses and the Prophet (saw) was in his early 50s we can challenge the non Muslim critic by saying why do we not have a single report from the enemies questioning her "young" age and his "older" age? And do you think her parents would let her marry so young if in their culture it was not normal?
The scholars who say she was older and in her late teens use the fact that the reason we have no reports from his enemies is simply because she was never married so young and the Hadith reports missed a 1 so it was 16 and 19....
Now when you tell the critics all this they still do not agree and say if Muhammad (saws) is the perfect man for all times then why do some Muslims give their daughters away for marriage at similar ages as 9 (child brides) even today?
How do we answer this? Who said these Muslims are right? Even if some scholars today allow it not all scholars are fallible. Even if it is done today it could be in regions of the world which aren't modern by our standards and live in the desert and the children don't go through school college university job routine... So marry young.
Please comment and add thought.

During the Sodoma and Gomorrah story, we know that the angels went to Lut house as young handsome boys and not in their natural form. That's why we suppose homosexuality is a sin. But why in Qur'an it's written that in Jannah we will find young handsome boys and beautiful girls that will serve you and will fulfill your desires? Isn't that a bit contradictory? How can handsome boys be a promise if homosexuality is a sin? Don’t try to answer by saying that boys are promised to girls because it's kinda clear that Qur'an almost always addresses to men.

As a convert, I hear this a lot:
> Masha Allah, also Masha'Allah, is an Arabic phrase that means "God has willed", expresses appreciation, joy, praise, or thankfulness for an event or person that was just mentioned. -- Mashallah
While the Wikipedia page lists the etymology of the word, it doesn't address where usage of this word originated.
**Question**: How did saying Mashallah originate?
I found this YouTube video , which I can't see at the moment, but Zaid mentioned in chat it's not suitable.

I interpret "his/her people" as meaning "his/her family" (which seems to match some translations at Islam Awakened and this answer to my previous question). A convert, for example, may not have any Muslim family members, and I'm wondering if they can use non-Muslim family members for arbitration.

As salamualaikum
May i ask once again a (maybe two in one) question on behalf of my dear sister's name. A long time ago she agreed that if i think she intended to marry, i should arrange it or at least she should have my permission to meet a man (cause of her severe physical disability, i try to help and protect her as best as possible for her own good). ((Again: Its her free will and decision as she came to islam to live it as scrupulously as possible.))
Yesterday she told me that she is in a affair, has comitted zina by speaking and looking at a young man as she was out only for anhour to breath fresh air and soak the sun as she hardly goes out of the place where she stays under our care.
I wanted to do a research before taking any decision.
What i know is:
> "The woman and the man guilty of fornication/adultery,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment."
>
— Qur'an, Sura 24 (An-Nur), ayat 2
what i found:
> It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Allaah has decreed for every son of Adam his share of zina, which he will inevitably commit. The zina of the eyes is looking, the zina of the tongue is speaking, one may wish and desire, and the private parts confirm that or deny it.”
"Nor come nigh to fornication/adultery: for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils)."
Is her action leading to a specific hadd, if yes, is there a Special rule for disabled offenders?
Who would be responsible to carry out the hadd in this case?
I hope that i asked my question correctly and I am great ful for any response, criticism and correction.

I want to ask what is the meaning of "inherit the earth" in Quran [39:74](http://legacy.quran.com/39/74) ?
> "And they will say, "Praise to Allah , who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers."
Does this verse indicates that the earth is going to be created again after it's destruction but in a different form than in the first life?
Does this means that in heaven there will be earth again? and the people will build life again there?
I don't remember the chapter but I've read in the New Testament about some similar sayings about the Kingdom of God in the afterlife. Could this be related?

Yesterday, we went to the mosque to perform Eid ul-Fitr salat prayer, which occurred between fajr (dawn prayer) and zuhr (noon prayer). For some reason, we performed takbir three times at various points during salat. I've never encountered this before, not even at other nearby mosques.
**Question**: Why did we do takbir three times during Eid ul-Fitr prayer?
In case it matters, it was at the Xining Road Mosque in Tianjin, China (西宁道清真寺 ) which would mostly be Hui Muslims , which I find generally follow the Sunni Hanafi Madhhab (see Gedimu ).

The Quran states:
>The Messiah, son of Mary, is no more than a messenger; like whom messengers have passed away; and his mother was trustworthy, they used to eat the food. See how We clarify the signs for them, then see how they deviate. (5:75)
Now, we come to the fact that the Quran here affirms that Jesus (SAW) was the Messiah. But the Jews rejected him, and rightly so in their point of view because he didn't seem to fulfil any of the requirements for the deliverer. So by saying that Jesus (SAW) is the messiah, why does God deny his previous revelation (the Old Testament) itself?
