Should we not pray at 12 o clock in the night?
I heard it from my mother that it is not allowed to pray at 12 o clock in the night as it is when the shaitan or Jinn pray. That it their time and we should not disturb them. And if we do so, they might hurt us. Is it true?

Status of falsafa in sunni islam?

I often come across mentions of Al-Kindi, Al-Farabi, Ibn Sina (Avicenna), and Ibn Rushd (Averroes). At least with regard to Ibn Sina, I'm certain I have seen numerous fatawa by authoritative sunni scholars that they consider him a kafir (for example, al-Ghazali reports that Ibn Sina claimed to be allowed to drink alcohol regularly for its medical benefits without medical indication that he needs to drink it; I'm not sure al-Ghazali declared Ibn Sina a kafir, though).
What is the status of the other three in this regard?

I know this must be a basic question so please forgive my ignorance, but I'm unfamiliar with the textual difference/similarities among the texts. I was able to discern that Khabar means "historical reports" -- but I couldn't tell if this is a subset of Hadith and how the other texts (Sira, Akbar, & Sunnah) relate to/branch off it -- if at all.
Can someone please clarify this for me, please? I think a diagram would help me to visualize their various roles, but I was unable to locate one. I couldn't even find a for "khabar" on google really.

I share a room with someone and he comes and goes in our room many times throughout the day. I was wondering if a closet will be okay to pray. Will this be alright? I wouldn't want to perform prayer in the bathroom because I doubt that is acceptable. or is it?

I was taught that a wall or any place that has the capability to acquire dirt can be used for tayammum but after going through this answer on What are the materials used for tayammum? which prohibits the walls without a reference and also going listening to a speaker on youtube I came across this new information **that walls are not allowed for tayyamum**.
1. I would like to know if there is a difference of opinion and which madhabs do or do not allow wall as an object of tayammum
2. If wall is not allowed, then how would a bedridden person suppose to do? he/she can go to the toilet with great difficulty in the first place so how should he/she prepare oneself(the wudhu replacement) for salah?
> perform Tayammum with clean Earth
>
> (al-Nisa’ 4:43)
In my opinion walls/doors ( irrespective of painted or not), are permissible since everything is directly or indirectly is created from products of Earth (example trees, paint polymers etc which are made from materials found on earth itself and not Mars)

During a most enjoyable speech about the story of Angel Gabriel (YouTube link ), Omar Suleiman talks about the three angels visiting Prophet Abraham on their way to annihilate the people of Prophet Lot. (Beginning at around 47m:55s ) (In Quran the story is briefly mentioned more than once. The most detailed section (to my extremely limited knowledge) is **11:69-77**.)
Omar Suleiman gives a rather detailed account of the story. He barely mentions some sources, but I cannot find them. Where can I find it?
Further, at around 53m:40s , Omar Suleiman mentions that the angels stated: *"Your Lord is Most Wise (al-Hakeem) and Most Knowledgeable (al-Aleem)."* What is interesting is that, as Omar Suleiman also points out, in Quran the order is always the other way round. (Omar Suleiman also gives the reasoning and wisdom behind this reversal of order.) Is this part also included in the sources that I am looking for?

Hadith about a man who wanted to enter jannah with only his deeds
There is a Hadith that talks about that - A man has many good deeds but Allah told the angel to take him to jannah with his mercy but the man wanted to enter jannah with his good deeds instead of Allah's mercy. So Allah asked him for his eyesight. Can anyone provide the reference for this Hadith?

What does reading surahs during salah in a reverse way mean?
I have heard reading surahs in reverse order but what does this actually mean? Reading the actual surah backwards, or reading a surah and the ones before it in that order? I've already tried finding the answer but unfortunately no help.

I have some questions under this piercing topic:
- Is it allowed to pierce ear for wearing jewellery? Is it considered as changing the feature created by Allah(subh)?
- If ear piercing allowed, what is the rule for men and ear piercing?
- Did any of the prophet's wives wear earrings?
