Is it okay if i read the tasbih different times in different sujud or ruku?
let's say in 1 Rakat 2 sujud. Usually, I repeat the tasbih 3 or 5 times on each sujud. So, if in the first sujud I repeated 5 times, in the 2nd one I repeated 3 times accidentally, is it a problem? Do I have to perform Sajda Sahw for that?

What are the sources of slavery in Islam?
I’m confused as to who qualifies to be enslaved. People often say captives of war, but what exactly does that mean? The opposite forces? Civilians in the town raided? How would you differentiate between a captive and non-combatant? Also, when does the sultan enforce the jizya for the non-believer?, to my understanding Muslims cannot attack the ones who pay jizya, so let’s say the mujahideen attack a place, do they just keep collecting captives till the sultan tells them to stop?

Is it permissible from the point of view of Islam to engage in the development and training of neural networks? And is it allowed to use neural networks? After all, by creating large neural networks (ChatGPT, for example), we create an entity capable of thinking in some sense. At the same time, we are able to make adjustments to the work of neural networks by adding new training data or directly changing the parameters of the neural network itself: topology, weights, activation functions, etc. It turns out, in my opinion, that we thereby become like the Creator Allah.

Also can i use the claimed Zakat for my personal use? For example: I am due to pay Zakat of $500. Now if i claim this $500 in my tax return, i will get them reimbursed. Now lets say my total tax refund was $800. Now out of this $800, i know that $500 are the one that i claimed for Zakat. Now if i want to buy something worth $800 for myself, lets say TV or Refrigerator, can i do that?

This question is related to the paper: *The Prophet’s Treaty with the Christians of Najran: An Analytical Study to Determine the Authenticity of the Covenants*, Ahmed El-Wakil , Journal of Islamic Studies (2016) 27 (3): 273-354. (DOI link ) The author writes: "In this paper, source-critical methods are applied to argue that these documents are indeed authentic and can be traced back to the Prophet." The Treaty of Najran contains a broad range of conditions, one of which is summarized as (referencing Al-Islam ): > No Christian would ever be forced by the Muslims to become a convert to Islam. **Question**: Does the Treaty of Najran have any modern-day applicability? It may be that: (a) the Treaty of Najran is widely considered fabricated (or dubious), like other treaties at the time, and therefore does not have modern-day relevance, or (b) the Treaty of Najran was only applicable at the time of the Prophet. (Or maybe something else entirely is true.)

Or was it censored because of the severe critic against Imam Abu Hanifa? Can somebody please explain that to me? Which version is accepted by scholars?

I have been told by my Muslim connections that there is a story in the Quran that relates how wicked the Jews are because they would lay traps to trap fish on the Sabbath. My question is given that the Quran obviously condemns Sabbath desecration by a Jew would it not make sense that a Jew who converts to Islam is still obligated to observe the Sabbath being under the covenant of the Torah which the Quran seems to accept was, at least in its original form, of divine origin? To my horror when I asked this question to my Yemenite Arabic teacher he answered that a Jew that converts should not continue to observe the Sabbath. Surely he is mistaken? Did Islam come to change the Torah? Surely that cannot be the official position of Islamic scholarship?

Assalamu Alaikum, I do software development and I like to share the knowledge with people to help them learn and unblock them when they are blocked. In this logic, I have recorded multiple YouTube videos sharing my knowledge and teaching people how to code and how to develop software programs. When I shared the videos, my intention, wa Allahu aalam, was to share knowledge and to help people. My questions are as follows: 1. Are those videos teaching people software considered as sadaqah Jarya? 2. Should I renew my intention for those videos to make it intended as a sadaqah? Jazakum Allahu khairan, Assalamu Alaikum,

After months of studying Islam i decided to become the Muslim. My family didn't have any problem with that.I was reading Quran yesterday and i found this ayat > You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those - He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him - those are the party of Allah . Unquestionably, the party of Allah - they are the successful.> Does this mean i am not allowed to show affection to my mother, father and my sisters?I love them so much.

According to the length of the chains, he must have lived in the 2nd generation after Muhammad ﷺ, probably at the same time as his well-known homologue Malik ibn Dinar al-Basri (whom Ibn Hanbal also quotes, with distinguishable chains, so that it can be excluded that they are identical). He may be counted among the tabiun. Does anyone know details of his life, knowledge and relationships?
