Is there anything in the Quran or Hadith in that making supplications during Hajj or Umrah have a higher chance of getting accepted?

Alhamdulillah, I will be going to Umrah in a couple weeks InshAllah. Before putting my deposit down and making the decision to go on Umrah, I was in a very bad state with depression and crippling anxiety due to certain problems I have in my life. I have always been told that supplications when performing the rituals of Umrah and Hajj have a much higher "likelihood" of getting accepted then supplications just made (for example) in your house. My question is are there any hadith narrated or anything in the Quran about this? Or is this just more of cultural belief? Please note, I am aware that not all duas are accepted, but I need to know where duas are the most powerful. I have been going through a rough period in life and have full faith in Allah SWT will remove my hardships, but I want to make sure my supplications are as meaningful as possible. Lastly, my decision to go to Umrah is not to just make duas in the most holy place on earth, but do please Allah so let just make that clear.

Surprisingly I did not find this question already posted on this site. Is it true all such animals that eat other animals are forbidden to eat? I have been hearing this doctrine my whole life from my mosque and family so I tried to look for the evidence but did not find it and the closest I got was: > Allah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) prohibited the eating of all fanged beasts of prey
**[ [Sunnah Ref: Sahih Muslim 1934a](https://sunnah.com/muslim:1934a) ]** but is there an evidence that all beasts of prey / carnivores / predators are forbidden to eat?

We know it is sunnah to lick fingers after eating a dish, what if one had the thought and sunnah in his mind, about to lick fingers but after eating he was not able to do it as his mother had called him. He had the knowledge of sunnah in his mind but due to some reasons he was not able to perform it. Is this kufr? He hadn't intended to reject sunnah or perform kufr.

If the idea of sending Quran through Muhammad was to replace the previously sent messages because they got corrupted later that means humans did not have the proper message to get guided between the time of the oldest available manuscripts of the New Testament and the Muhammad's time. There were a few centuries between these two and a few generations of people lived and died during this gap. Wasn't god serious about this issue? Is god serious about people having the correct message with them?

Assalamu Alaikum. I am a 16 years old girl. I like a boy band named BTS. I used to enjoy their music and performance. But now that I am aware that it's haram to listen to music i am trying to stay away from music. But there are some things I am confused about. I like enjoying their variety show and other fun activities. Which mostly doesn't contain music or any haram activities. It's mostly fun games and stuff. Is it okay if I still watch those shows and clips? I am not excessively obsessed. It's just something I like to watch. I would like to know if it's acceptable or not. Thank you.

First of all, I am not a muslim and thus do not know much about Islam, but I am reading a book from Tayeb CHOUIREF, *L'Islam expliqué* (Islam Explained, march 2022) and reached the part about zakât. Somewhere in the book, the author says that there is no official authority in Islam. By that, I mean any official, like the Pope for the christians, that gives orientation on how Islam should be practiced (not the corrects words, but I think you'll get the idea). This absence of authority is for all Islamic orientations but Shiite, if I remember well. However, when explaining what zakât is, the author says that it is given to poor people, or to *those responsible for collecting donations*. - Who is in charge of collecting it ? - How are these people selected ? - How do you make sure the collected donations are actually distributed to those needing it ?

However, I think Islamic calendar is based on the day Prophet emigrated. So how can it be Islamic year 573 if miracle happened in his lifetime, Am I missing something?

I'm a revert from christianity, and I have been just trying to test out other religions and Islam is the one that stuck out to me even when I went back to Christianity. I saw that Islam really affected me in a good way. But every time I try to fully embrace islam I lose motivation, and I don't know what I have to do. I have faith in Allah SWT but I ask for help from Him and nothing happens and over time this has led me to just overall give up. How do I stop losing my imaan when my duas are not answered?

My husband and I have two 6-month old kittens: one male and one female which we keep as indoor pets. I have concerns about the male cat, particularly as my husband and I are about to Insha’Allah have a baby soon: 1. he can be rather aggressive and scratches; 2. he will soon be spraying to mark his territory around the house; 3. it is likely that soon, he will be mature enough to mate and we will have kittens on our hands, which we will be unable to give proper care to. We have considered having him rehomed, but he and his sister are the best of friends, so it would be such a shame to split them up and we know he will be cared for properly with us. Our vet advises that we have him neutered in order to calm him down and prevent points 2 and 3 and advises that we should do so soon whilst he is still young. Is this haram?

A few years back, I committed a major sin (in my case zina) and at that time I didn't even realize I have spoiled myself and my soul. In last Ramadan, I fasted for whole month and I am little more inclined towards the true faith (unlike my life before) but ever since then it makes me ashamed and hits me like a needle in my body every now and then that I have committed such major sin of committing zina, I find myself apologizing and in repentance from Almighty Allah for what I did but I do not get satisfaction, I feel like I am ruined despite my repentance, I feel like Allah has turned away from me. Because of this I have committed to myself that I will never commit zina again *insha Allah*. And I believe Allah is so kind that he will forgive me *insha Allah* but for whatever reason, this thought that I have once committed zina makes me worried and even cry sometimes about what I did. I should also mention that I kept myself away from this sin before marriage even though I had perfect opportunities if I wanted to do so but I refrained knowing it was major sin but then I committed this after marriage which makes me even more worried. How do I get satisfaction in my life now or, how do I know that I have been forgiven?
