Concept of argumentation rejecting Abrogation (naskh)
The subject of abrogation is disputed between scholars since long time. The subject of abrogation is disputed between scholars since long time. The key passages concerning abrogation are 2:106 > We never nullify a verse, nor cause it to be forgotten, unless We bring one better than it, or similar to it. Do you not know that God is capable of all things? 6:34 > Other messengers before you were rejected, but they endured rejection and persecution until Our help came to them. There can be no change to God’s words. News of the Messengers has already reached you. There is more than one question on this site explaining how and why many scholars defend the concept of abgrogation. There are however also many scholars who do not accept the concept of abrogation in the sense that a later verse of the Quran (or even a Hadith) may invalidate an earlier verse (or earlier revelation) as being in conflict with the concept of the Word of God being unchanging and pre-existing. What explanation patterns are genarally suggested to replace the concept of abrogation in case of a conflict? https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/1448/how-to-reconcile-allahs-infallibility-with-naskh https://islam.stackexchange.com/questions/55665/not-understanding-the-concept-of-abrogation-naskh

>This is Ibn kathir tasfir. > > >Allah says: "There is no compulsion in religion", meaning: do not force anyone to embrace Islam, because it is clear and its proofs and evidences are manifest. Whoever Allah guides and opens his heart to Islam has indeed embraced it with clear evidence. Whoever Allah misguides blinds his heart and has set a seal on his hearing and a covering on his eyes cannot embrace Islam by force...hence Allah revealed this verse. **But, this verse is abrogated by the verse of "fighting...Therefore, all people of the world should be called to Islam. If anyone of them refuses to do so, or refuses to pay the Jizya they should be fought till they are killed. This is the meaning of compulsion.** In the Sahih, the Prophet said: "Allah wonders at those people who will enter Paradise in chains", meaning prisoners brought in chains to the Islamic state, then they embrace Islam sincerely and become righteous, and are entered among the people of Paradise. This is what ibn kathir says but I can't finds any of it in any website.Quranx have the commentary of Ibn kathir but it doesn't say any of this(abrogation of quran 2:256). So where can I find it, or is this even real commentary by Ibn kathir

In 25:3 it is said: > Yet they have taken besides Him gods who cannot create anything but > are themselves created. Nor can they protect or benefit themselves. > Nor can they control life, death, or resurrection.25:3 Explain the verse because angels take the soul and therefore have power over death. According to 4:97: > When the angels seize the souls of those who have wronged > themselves1—scolding them, “What do you think you were doing?” they > will reply, “We were oppressed in the land.” The angels will respond, > “Was Allah’s earth not spacious enough for you to emigrate?” It is > they who will have Hell as their home—what an evil destination!4:97 And also: specify the moment at 16:21 > They are dead, not alive—not even knowing when their followers will be > resurrected.16:21 The polytheists also worshipped angels, and they are alive.

Assalamoalikum, I wanted to learn if Qadi Iyad's Kitab Ash Shifa is a reliable source among Sunni scholars or not. I am asking this in the sense of the author's reliability and writings. Of course, some Sahih and Da'if Hadith references are found inside the book. Still, this question has a lesser focus on the Hadith references but rather on the reliability of the content in the book written by Qadi Iyad himself.

I am very confused because I'm not sure at what point in my prayer that i'm suppose to do dua. Do I do dua in a fard prayer? Do I do dua between the tashahhud and salam? Do I do dua after salam (end of prayer)? Do I do dua in sujood? And how do you do dua in sujood? Is it after saying subhaana rubbi alalla? And at which rakkah do you say it? What is the sequence of dua?(praise Allah and the prophet, dua for the muslims, dua for the country, dua for the family and friends, and then dua for myself) Is that in the right order? or there is no order? When I mean dua, I mean when we ask Allah for things and forgiveness and for family and friends,...etc. I'm sorry if there are lots of questions. I just need clarification especially since the last 10 days of Ramadan I need to make dua. Thank you very much.

Is there a contradiction on the validity of coitus interruptus?

The following narration reports the Prophet SAW denying the Jewish stance of coitus interruptus being likened to burying infants >Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: A man said: Messenger of Allah, I have a slave-girl and I withdraw the penis from her (while having intercourse), and I dislike that she becomes pregnant. I intend (by intercourse) what the men intend by it. The Jews say that withdrawing the penis (azl) is burying the living girls on a small scale. He (the Prophet) said: The Jews told a lie. If Allah intends to create it, you cannot turn it away. ([Sunan Abi Dawud 2171](https://sunnah.com/abudawud:2171)) However one report in Sahih Muslim shows the Prophet SAW affirming it >Judama daughter of Wahb, sister of Ukkasha (Allah be pleased with her). reported: I went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) along with some persons and he was saying: I intended to prohibit cohabitation with the suckling women, but I considered the Greeks and Persians, and saw that they suckle their children and this thing (cohabitation) does not do any harm to them (to the suckling women). Then they asked him about 'azl, whereupon he said. That is the secret (way of) burying alive, and Ubaidullah has made this addition in the hadith transmitted by al-Muqri and that is: " When the one buried alive is asked." ([Sahih Muslim 1442b](https://sunnah.com/muslim:1442b)) Could this be a case of the Prophet SAW conveying his own personal view which was later divinely admonished or is there a contradiction? Obviously a hadith from Muslim holds more credence. Could the report from Abu Dawud be a mistake?

I got a WhatsApp message about what a person sees during death and it was written there that a dead man does not realize that he is dead initially. He feels himself dreaming of death, he sees himself weeping, bathed, tied and descended into the Grave. He still feels dreaming when he is hoarded by the ground. He then screams but nobody hears his shout. Sometimes later, when everyone is dispersed and he is left alone under the ground, Allah restores his soul. Are all these I have mentioned true?

My father had been molesting me ever since I was a child and stopped after I revealed to my family what he was doing. But still to this day he makes some inappropriate comments, it is clear he doesn’t understand modesty and most likely will not change. Anyways currently I have to live with him because I am underage but plan to cut off ties with him in the future. He does not seem to repent or accept what he did to me. Inshallah when i get married and have kids, I don’t want to have the man who caused me so much pain and trauma with me in those moments. I don’t know how I can maintain relationships with that horrible man in the future . I am also encouraging my younger sister to stay away from him for her own safety. Will it be a sin if I do so? Does this abusive man have to stay in my life just because he is my father biologically?

All praise be to Almighty Allah, Asalamu Aleykum, I was having a question in my mind. I have no knowledge about Islam at all, In Shaa Allah one day I will have. **My question** is during the fulfilment of our duties to Allah(S.W.T), does emotion count as an effort or do you have to be logical and do it? For example, when we are commanded to do something, for example, zakkat, we have to do it even if we don't like it. My point is most sharia are like the law you don't say I like this law or I don't like this law you have to do it. ***So does emotion play any role if the fulfilment of Islamic law?*** Let's say you are doing something for the benefit of helping others but you don't like it but for the fear of God you have to do it, does that count as good deeds? I apologize for my English am using a translator.
