Doubts regarding the preservation of Quran
A question has been already asked here regarding the ways that how Qur'an was transmitted and how it was preserved. But my question is different. A question has been already asked here regarding the ways that how Qur'an was transmitted and how it was preserved. But my question is different. I was reading some Q-A on our sister SE sites and came across this : Has the Quran preserved since Muhammad ? The top answer concluded that it can't be said surely and hence **NO** . It mentioned some hadiths to support too. How do muslim scholars explain these ? P.S.: I understand that proving the authenticity of an answer on any other SE site sentence by sentence is not a great thing to do. However, since the preservation of Quran is unanimously believed to be the greatest living miracle by muslims and central to Islam, I can't resist to ask. Thanks, I hope for an answer clearing all doubts.! If you think that this question can be edited and made be better , please feel free to edit it.

I want to know that why did Allah only promised protection of Quran and not his others books? Why didn't he saved other books from human corruption, like he's doing for Quran?

What was the argument about between the different muslims when Uthman (R.A) united them?
I know there was an argument between the Muslims in the subject of Quran at the time of Uthman (R.A). **What was the argument about**? Did the Muslims not agree that other recitations were correct ? A question on the preservation of the Quran
So in [Sahih al Bukhari 6829](https://sunnah.com/bukhari:6829), we get to know that the verse of stoning was not there in the Quran. Doesn’t that mean that the Quran is not preserved? Or is it that the verse was not meant to be in the Quran at the first place but the ruling was supposed to be there?

Is the Quran really preserved or are there missing parts of the Quran?

First of all, I'm sorry for the nature of this topic but recently, my Imaan has become weaker. Shaytan is flooding my mind with doubts. This morning, I started to doubt the preservation of the Quran (May Allah forgive me). So I really need your help and guidence. I was reading about the history of the Quran when I noticed something interesting. During the Battle of Yamama, many of the huffaz were killed. So Abu Bakr told Zaid ibn Thabit to collect the Quran. And then Zaid said this: "*...By Allah, if he (Abu Bakr) had ordered me to shift one of the mountains it would not have been harder for me than what he had ordered me concerning the collection of the Quran... So I started locating the Quranic material and collecting it from parchments, scapula, leafstalks of date palms and from the memories of men*." Here's where one of the confusion lies. **If Zaid ibn Thabit was the personal scribe of Muhammad (s.a.w.) and if he had the entire Quran memorized, why did he have to collect Quranic material in written form? What's wrong with the material he already had? Did Abu Bakr not trust Zaid ibn Thabit's work?** Later, Zaid ibn Thabit said: "**So I started looking for the Holy quran and collected it from (what was written on) palm-leaf stalks, thin white stones, and also from men who knew it by heart, until I found the last verse of Surat at-Tauba (repentance) with Abi Khuzaima al-Ansari, and I did not find it with anybody other than him.**" This leads me to another question: **Why did Zaid ibn Thabit stop searching after he found the lasts verses of Surah Tauba? Did Zaid ibn Thabit find all parts of the Quran that was revealed to Muhammad (s.a.w.)? Were there any parts of the Quran that he couldn't find?** We all know that Zaid ibn Thabit's task was to collect written portions of the Quran and all the verses that he collected were unanimously agreed upon by the companions. **But what about the verses that he didn't collect? If Zaid ibn Thabit had some parts of the Quran memorized for which he couldn't find any written copies, were these parts recorded in Abu Bakr's compilation of the Quran or were they omitted?** Please reply soon.

Why are there so many uncertainties and differences in performing the Salah? One school says this, another says the other, Some group of people believe this to be true, the other believes something else. Prayer is the second most important pillar of Islam. Why is the subject of Salah mentioned so vaguely in the Qu'ran, I mean, shouldn't the ways and methods of performing Salah be mentioned clearly in the Qu'ran or rather even somewhere else like why didn't the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) decide to write down the rules and regulations of Prayer and preserve it? Instead, we are to be depended on narrations mentioned in the Hadiths which would've been fine if different narrations didn't claim different varieties that contradict each other. (I am not asking this disrespectfully, I have the utmost love and respect for my Prophet (SAW). I have only posted this to gain knowledge and have a better understanding of the issue. May my Lord forgive me for my sins and shortcomings.)

Can we demonstrate that the Quran is perfectly preserved?

I want you guys to prove it to me that the Quran is perfectly preserved. When I say this, I mean I want you to prove it to me that there is an absolute 0% chance that any verse/surah was removed, lost, added or altered since Muhammad (s.a.w.) passed away. I want you to convince me that every single ayah that was revealed to Muhammad is in our Quran today in its perfect form. Use as many sources as you like. They must all be **authentic** and **unambiguous**. And please don't misinterpret my motif for this question. I'm not bashing Islam. I'm just trying to increase my imaan. So please don't take this the wrong way.
