I have previously worked on a website where different car dealerships in the US provide their call recordings. my role was to review call quality in the websites and categorizing intent, not selling cars. In addition to dealerships, dentists and other companies also provide recordings. Through these recordings, the company evaluates whether the call center representatives performed their duties properly, and whether the customer called to buy a car or to get it serviced (fix or repair). However, when customers inquire about buying a car, they often discuss purchasing it on interest (riba) and talk about financing rates, etc. The owner of this website is not the dealership, but a third party that works for the dealership. Given this, is my income from working on this website halal or not?
