salam! My mom is so simple she does follow islam in a way her mother teah her and after marriage when she got gold untill now she doesn't knew she had to pay zakat from it nor anybody describe her. now its been almost 37years of marriage and she has gold from that time and i want her to pay zakat now. How much zakat should we pay now? when i calculated its been making too much as of current gold amount. pls tell me if she has gold and some amount how much she has to pay zakat now? also we are not too rich and only daughters so can she pay the zakat to her husband like my father?
