I was watching *The beautiful names and attributes (3) - Assim al hakeem* on youtube. here he says:
> and scholars of akida, when they speak about the name Allah they
> expand, they go beyond identifying what Allah means and where it it
> comes from, they speak about Allah with majesty.
and here he says:
> this is why when scholars talk about the name Allah they expand not to
> make you bored or to write many pages that nobody is going to read
> rather to cement the glorification of Allah in your heart...
> he created the whole universe and you are
> nothing compared to this... Allah provided for you, Allah facilitated
> your affairs. you cannot inhale a breath without his permission and if
> you inhale that you cannot exhale it without his permission. the blood
> runs in your veins without your control, you don't even think about
> it. and when a blood clot stops, you don't even know about it, it's
> all by his creation
In this lecture, Shaykh Assim al-Hakeem refers to books by scholars of ʿaqīdah that discuss the Name “Allah” in depth — not just linguistically, but to build awe and glorification (taʿẓīm) in the believer’s heart. Unfortunately, he doesn’t mention the specific titles.
**I am looking for books** that attempt to write about Allah’s greatness, majesty, and countless blessings — works that describe Him as our Rabb (Lord), Ar-Razzāq (The Provider), Al-Khāliq (The Creator), Al-Malik (The Sovereign), and beyond — covering all His names, attributes, and aspects of His greatness, and showing how all of these relate to us.
I am not looking for books on fiqh or sharīʿah rulings, but rather works that focus solely on Allah Himself — His Being, His names and attributes, His signs, His might, His mercy, and all aspects of His greatness.
