Today I joked with my friend, what I said was that I simple say thank you to Chat GPT after asking a question so that in future I would be spared in the “robot apocalypse”. It was purely a joke and we both knew such thing would never ever exist. But then my friend became very serious and told me it’s haram to joke about this as it is against Islam, like in Islam we know the “robot apocalypse” would never happen. I was confused and told that we both know it’s not true but she was very serious. So is it haram to joke about these stuffs?
