Explanation of the Quranic verse 45 of Surah Al-Furqaan (25:45)

I tried to understand this verse but I couldn't: >**أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا** > >Have you not seen how your Lord extends the shade—He could have simply made it ˹remain˺ still if He so willed—then We make the sun its guide > https://quran.com/25:45 **Can you give a very clear and understandable explanation of the verse above?** I know that only Allah knows the meaning of His verses but I don't want to commit kufr by denying this (for me) hard to understand verse.
