For those faiths that take the Genesis flood story as historical, how do they defend God killing everyone and everything. What did the babies do? The animals? The mentally challenged? Was God unaware that his anger would change nothing? The world quickly returned to the same condition. If taken literally, how do you avoid the conclusion that Gods strategy failed?
